Marvel TV’s Helstrom Series Has Wrapped Its First Season

While the coronavirus pandemic has prematurely shut down several TV shows, Marvel’s Helstrom series has made made it to the finish line. Via ComicBook, cast member Alain Uy has revealed that Helstrom season 1 has wrapped. This Hulu original series was inspired by Marvel’s Son of Satan comics. Uy will portray Chris Yen on the series.

Although the comic book incarnations of Daimon Helstrom and his sister, Satana, are literally the children of a demon. However, the TV series will re-imagine the Helstrom siblings as the children of a serial killer. Tom Austen will headline the series as Daimon, a professor of ethics and a part-time exorcist. Ana Helstrom will be played by Sydney Lemmon as an auction house owner who hunts down killers and evil men.

Elizabeth Marvel also stars in the series as Victoria Helstrom, the insane mother of Daimon and Ana. Additionally, Ariana Guerra, Robert Wisdom, and June Carryl round out the cast. The first season of Helstrom will run for ten episodes.

Helstrom is currently without a release date. But a late 2020 or 2021 release seems likely, pending the end of the coronavirus pandemic.
