Erica Durance Talks About Her Smallville Reunion in Crisis

The upcoming Crisis on Infinite Earths isn’t just limited to The CW’s Arrowverse. Smallville will also be represented by Tom Welling and Erica Durance reprising their respective roles as Clark Kent and Lois Lane. This won’t be Durance’s first Arrowverse experience, since she plays Supergirl’s mother, Alura. Regardless, Durance noted that coming back home to the Kent farm felt like the natural evolution of Lois and Clark’s relationship. She also noted that it was almost as if they hadn’t been apart for so many years.

“It’s a little bit of a look into their future and the different choices they’ve made to be together. It’s a full-circle moment that’s really nice,” said Durance during an interview with EW. “It was bizarre [because] it felt like we hadn’t missed a beat. It was just easy, it was like coming back in and working with family. [And] it was a little bit bizarre because we went back on somebody’s else show, but we’re in a set that we’re familiar with, the farm and all those things. So it was very, very cool.”
