The Flash Meets Supermen and Black Lightning in New Crisis Set Photos

So far, most of the hype surrounding Crisis on Infinite Earths has been focused on the three actors playing Superman. Of course, these Men of Steel won’t be the only beloved heroes with roles in the upcoming crossover. The cast of Legends of Tomorrow will return to the fold after sitting out Elseworlds last year. Plus, we’ll see Black Lightning meet up with the Arrowverse heroes for the first time. Now, we have a better idea of how the characters from those shows will interact with the universe’s better-known stars.

Twitter user Riley Cole (who describes himself as an actor and filmmaker in his bio) recently shared a pair of photos from the Crisis set. One shows The Flash’s Grant Gustin posing between Tyler Hoechlin and Brandon Routh, both in costume as Superman. The other image shows Gustin standing with Black Lightning lead Cress Williams. You can check out these new pictures below.

It’s also worth noting that both photos were taken on the Legends’ base of operations, the Waverider. It remains to be seen how the time-traveling heroes will react when they see someone who looks an awful lot like Ray Palmer wearing a Superman outfit. However, we expect this to be a major source of comic relief when the event finally airs.

Supergirl will kick off Crisis on Infinite Earths on Sunday, December 8. The second part will unfold in Batwoman on Monday, December 9. Meanwhile, The Flash will feature the third part on Tuesday, December 10. Then on Tuesday, January 14, 2020, Arrow and Legends of Tomorrow will wrap up the crossover.
