Transformers: Cyberworld Season 2 release date and trailer revealed
A trailer for Transformers: Cyberworld Season 2 was recently revealed to fans, along with the season’s release date.
Hasbro shared an exclusive look at Season 2 with Screen Rant and said the show will premiere on YouTube on August 22. The synopsis hints at the Autobots and Decepticons’ struggle in the digital space as they face the Energon surge phenomenon. The show reveals the phenomenon as a threat after its debut in the toy line.
According to the outlet, the logline of Transformers: Cyberworld Season 2 states, “New wonders and new threats have been unlocked on Cyberworld. Energon Surge is taking over, but will it be a source of danger or immense power to those who learn to harness it?” It also suggests that, beyond the surge, Bumblebee and Optimus Prime are facing their own personal struggles. While Bumblebee tries to come to terms with reality as he undergoes mysterious physical changes, Prime is eager to get his team back together to find a solution in the digital world.
Season 1 of the show was released in July 2025 and aired its finale this year.
Hasbro Entertainment’s Alyse D’Antuono also shed light on how the Energon Surge will take center stage in Season 2. D’Antuono told the outlet, “Season 2 marks an exciting evolution for Transformers: Cyberworld. Energon Surge changes everything: the world, the characters, the stakes. It’s the biggest test yet for Optimus, Bumblebee, and the rest of the team.”
Fans can also get their hands on the Energon Surge toy line to better understand the phenomenon.
