Avengers: Doomsday is set to bring together a wide range of Marvel characters as the Multiverse Saga moves toward its conclusion. Before the new film arrives, Disney+ has highlighted 15 movies and shows that fans can revisit. The selection gives fans a chance to catch up before the next Avengers film.
Disney+ reveals all important MCU projects to watch before Avengers: Doomsday
Disney+ has assembled a list of Marvel movies and series for viewers to watch ahead of Avengers: Doomsday. The lineup brings together several chapters from across the MCU, including earlier Avengers films, the first two X-Men movies produced for Fox, multiverse-focused projects and more recent films. Notably, there is only one series on the list, which is the Disney+ series Loki.

The upcoming Avengers: Doomsday will bring together a large cast, including Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards, Paul Rudd as Scott Lang, Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova and Robert Downey Jr. as Doctor Doom, after previously playing Tony Stark in the MCU.
The film’s first trailer introduces Doctor Doom and hints at catastrophic events. Professor Xavier appears at the X-Mansion as the threat begins to unfold, while Gambit and Shang-Chi are shown in combat. Thor also confronts Doom, but is quickly overpowered. The footage also features Steve Rogers reuniting with Thor and lifting Mjolnir once again.
Directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars are set to conclude the Multiverse Saga, with Doomsday scheduled to arrive on December 18, 2026, and Secret Wars scheduled for December 17, 2027.
