Marvel’s Wolverine PS5 Bundle Unleashes Its Claw-Marked Design in First Look

Sony has announced and revealed the Marvel’s Wolverine Limited Edition PS5 Console bundle and its accessories. The new console bundle will celebrate the release of Insomniac Games’ upcoming Marvel’s Wolverine in style, with two different editions. The bundles, available with PS5 and PS5 Pro, channel Wolverine’s primal energy through hand-drawn artwork.

There are several console designs available through this bundle, and PS5 owners can also buy the console covers separately. The first limited edition bundle includes a black -and-yellow color scheme, matching Wolverine’s costume from the game. Wolverine’s claw marks can be seen on the accompanying DualSense wireless controller.

The second bundle design is inspired by Wolverine’s Adamantium bones, with a silver-and-black color scheme and a metallic finish on the console covers. The same goes for the accompanying DualSense wireless controller.

The artists behind Marvel’s Wolverine explain the PS5’s bold design

The artwork shown on the bundle was designed by Mark Simpson, also known as Jock, a Scottish graphic artist. Jock has worked on various comic books from Marvel to DC Comics to Image Comics’ Wytches.

“I wanted to show Wolverine at his fiercest for Marvel’s Wolverine Limited Edition PS5 Console bundle and accessories,” said Jock on the PlayStation blog. “I still draw all my artwork traditionally, so the opportunity to marry cutting-edge hardware with the energy and looseness of hand-drawn ink is incredibly exciting. I’m stunned by how well the console and accessories captured the raw energy of the drawing, bringing Wolverine to life in a completely unique way.”

Pre-orders for the bundles and accessories will start on August 19, 2026, at 10 AM local time.

Marvel’s Wolverine and the accompanying PS5 bundles and accessories will be released on September 15, 2026. The game will be exclusive to the PlayStation 5.
