Iron Studios Batman Returns Statue Strikes a More Comic Book Pose

With the Batman Returns Batsuit now officially poised to make a cinematic comeback in The Flash movie, collectibles companies with the 1992 film’s rights are cashing in. Iron Studios just revealed a 1:10 scale Batman Returns statue that takes some cool creative license with the film. While actor Michael Keaton found it famously difficult to move in the restrictive muscle suit, this statue has him striking the classic comic “broods on gargoyle” pose. His cape wraps around him like wings to keep out the bitter cold, as the Batsignal shines below.

About 13 inches tall, this Batman statue keeps 1:10 scale, meaning that if the Batan figure on it were standing up straight, he’d be around 7 inches. As such, he should look in scale next to most McFarlane and Kotobukiya Batmen. Here’s a full look:

The polystone statue does not actually feature a light-up Batsignal. If it did, no doubt it would cost far more than $179.99. Previous statues of Catwoman and Penguin from the same movie remain up for preorder as well. Although at $249.99, the Penguin costs a little more.
