Superhero Hype’s Best Amazon Toy and Collectibles Deals for July 23
Normally, many people reading this right now would have been at Comic-Con this week, hunting down exclusive toys and great deals. Fate has taken that away this year, but there’s always Amazon. And with so many options there, it’s hard to know where to begin or what to afford. In this ongoing series, Superhero Hype takes a look at some of the better deals Amazon.com has running as of publication time. Please note that all deals are subject to change or sell out at any time based on supply and demand.
In case anybody missed him when he was a Best Buy exclusive or a build-a-figure, the crafty AI from the Avengers sequel can now be seized on Amazon. Bad strategic move for him; good news for fans. Formerly $25, he’s even a couple bucks off. One might even say this deal has got no strings.
NECA may be killing it with new Back to the Future action figures, but Playmobil’s Delorean playset is the most fun and affordable one to date, with folding wheels, removable “plutonium,” and light-up sides and flux capacitor. Plus Marty, Doc, and Einstein come with every major accessory they need, from Geiger counter to skateboard. It’s a rare toy that doesn’t try to hook the buyer on any subsequent installments, because the set comes fully complete.
Not everyone’s been thrilled with Harley Quinn‘s recent wardrobe changes in other media, because it’s hard to beat the classics. This super-poseable figure in her original red and black jester suit brings the pain with a gag gun and hammer. She’s also five smackers less than most stores would sell her for. It’s a deal a fella would be mad not to love.
LEGO Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker Resistance Y-Wing Starfighter 75249 New Advanced Collectible Starship Model Building Kit
LEGO sets rarely go on sale, especially if they’re Star Wars, so snag a 20% discount while it’s available. Whatever anyone thinks of The Rise of Skywalker, Y-Wings have always been cool. This one comes with smuggler Poe Dameron, his old flame Zorii Bliss, D-O, and more. Plus the spaceship shoots missiles and drops bombs. That First Order Snowtrooper seems overmatched.
Not crazy about Catwoman’s recent redesign? Go back to the aviatrix/dominatrix look with this Jae Lee-inspired action figure. For $18.27, she’ll whip your other Gotham heroes and villains into shape.
By Grabthar’s hammer, what a savings! Yes, that’s a mismatched reference, but everyone knows what Galaxy Quest was spoofing. And besides, most folks reading expect us to say resistance is futile. At a 34% discount, this 6-inch statue of Star Trek‘s Locutus of Borg costs less than most similarly sized and detailed action figures. That’s nothing to facepalm about.
Toss a few fewer coins to your Witcher, as this 9.5-inch statue costs a mere $30.34. Based on his video game appearances, this depiction of Geralt in his Grandmaster Ursine armor is ready to slay. And he’s definitely not CGI clean-shaven.

Hasbro’s new board game version allows for quicker learning and playing, with classic D&D fun. Players can choose and customize their heroes, battle iconic D&D monsters, and experience a new adventure every time. Choose a journey and which Boss your party of heroes will fight in the end. Marvel Legends Series Ant-Man & The Wasp 6″-Scale Movie-Inspired X-Con Luis & Marvel’s Ghost Collectible Action Figure 2 Pack
What good’s a superhero collection without Luis to narrate in flashback? Now, for less than the cost of a single Marvel Legends figure, the loquacious Latino and phasing adversary Ghost can hold their own with every other action figure. Also included: a bonus unmasked head for Ghost, a super-sized ant, and Hank Pym’s miniature suitcase lab.
McFarlane Toys tried their hand at a LEGO-ish version of the iconic Game of Thrones location, but it lacked that essential brick-built feel. Mattel’s Mega Construx take splits the difference, looking halfway between realism and block stylization, and might become the better one for it. Plus it comes with fully articulated minifigs of Cersei, Jon Snow, Daenerys, and the Night King.
