Spider-Man: Far From Home

Tom Holland Spoiled Avengers: Endgame For His Co-Stars

Warning: There are spoilers ahead for Avengers: Endgame!

The latest trailer for Spider-Man: Far From Home wasn’t shy about spoiling a major plot point for Avengers: Endgame. To be fair, Tom Holland, who portrays the web-slinger, did warn audiences about the demise of Tony Stark/Iron Man beforehand. However, it turns out he wasn’t so discreet about spoiling Iron Man’s death to his co-stars when filming began.

In a recent interview with Jake Hamilton on YouTube, Holland was joined by his co-stars Zendaya and Jacob Batalon. During the Q & A, Hamilton brought up the question, “How were you told that Iron Man is dead?” Before anyone could answer, both Zendaya and Batalon pointed at Holland.

It turns out they learned “too early,” way back in 2016. “You guys have known for that long?” asked Hamilton. But Zendaya noted that they “have to know” before laughing about it.

When asked how he brought it up, Holland played along with his reputation for dropping spoilers.

“What’s up? Iron Man dies,” joked Holland. He later added, “that’s the best way to hear it,” before Zendaya yelled “NO!”

The full interview can be seen below, although the question as to when the co-stars find out about Iron Man’s death is around the 1:45 mark.
