Unused Fantastic Four Concept Art Online

Fantastic Four concept art revealed online

Following the previously-released details on a missing sequence from Twentieth Century Fox’s reboot, some Fantastic Four concept art for the film that also didn’t make the final cut has surfaced.

Artist Steve Jung, who also provided concept art for Transformers: Age of Extinction and Terminator Genisys, posted these four images online calling them “exploration of the Planet Zero and Victor’s castle ideations.” Jung also notes that the texture of the terrain is based on “cigarette buds from a picture of the director’s ashtray,” and “the castle is made out of particles so in some places you can see through and Victor is holding everything together in his mind.” Check them out below!

Currently playing in theaters, Fantastic Four has grossed just over $50 million at the domestic box office with a worldwide total of $130 million, making it among one of the lowest-grossing films based on a Marvel comic. The film stars Miles Teller as Reed Richards (Mr. Fantastic), Kate Mara as Sue Storm (The Invisible Woman), Michael B. Jordan as Johnny Storm (The Human Torch), Jamie Bell as Ben Grimm (The Thing), Toby Kebbell as Victor Von Doom, Reg E. Cathey (“The Wire”) as Dr. Franklin Storm, and Tim Blake Nelson.
