Supergirl Recruits Pan Star Levi Miller for New Character

Supergirl adds Pan star Levi Miller

You’ll believe a boy can fly, especially because Pan star Levi Miller has joined the cast of “Supergirl.” TV Line reports that Miller will make his debut in the series in the fourth episode, playing the role of Carter Grant, the son of Calista Flockhart’s Cat Grant. Said to be wholly different from the character’s comic book son Adam Morgan (who was himself a big fan of Superboy), the character is described as “sensitive and shy” and “couldn’t be more different from his mom.”

Executive producer Greg Berlanti, who worked with Miller on Pan, said the following: “We loved working with him so much on Pan, we were excited to bring him into Supergirl‘s universe. He’s an exceptional young actor and a part of the Berlanti Productions family. It will be fun for audiences, who we know will fall in love with him as Peter in Pan on Oct 9, to see his range with his turn as Calista Flockhart’s American son.”

Melissa Benoist leads the series as the title character with a cast that also includes Mehcad Brooks as James Olsen, Laura Benanti as Alura Zor-El, Calista Flockhart as Cat Grant, Chyler Leigh as Alexandra “Alex” Danvers, Jeremy Jordan as Winslow “Winn” Schott, Jenna Dewan Tatum as Lucy Lane (sister of Lois), David Harewood as Hank Henshaw, Peter Facinelli as Maxwell Lord, and, in mystery roles, Dean Cain and Helen Slater.

Hailing from Warner Bros. TV and Berlanti Productions (who also produce the hit DC Comics series “Arrow” and “The Flash” for The CW), “Supergirl” is based on the characters from DC Comics and centers on Kara Zor-El, who comes to Earth after escaping the destruction of Krypton. After many years hiding her abilities, she joins the ranks of her cousin Superman to become the hero she was meant to be.

The pilot episode of “Supergirl” was written by Ali Adler (“No Ordinary Family”) and Greg Berlanti (“Arrow,” “The Flash”). They will also executive produce along with Sarah Schechter and Warner Bros. TV.

“Supergirl” will premiere Monday, October 26 at a special time (8:30-9:30pm) before it moves to its regular time slot on Monday, November 2 from 8:00-9:00pm.
