New Deadpool Set Photos Show a Familiar Sequence Being Filmed

Production continues on 20th Century Fox’s Deadpool film, and a new batch of set photos have debuted online and seemingly reveal the sequence from the previously-leaked test footage (watch below) being shot in live action. Check them out below (via Comic Book).

Based upon Marvel Comics’ most unconventional anti-hero, Deadpool tells the origin story of former Special Forces operative turned mercenary Wade Wilson, who after being subjected to a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers, adopts the alter ego Deadpool. Armed with his new abilities and a dark, twisted sense of humor, Deadpool hunts down the man who nearly destroyed his life.

Ryan Reynolds will star in the title role of the film along with Ed Skrein, TJ Miller as Weasel, Gina Carano as Angel Dust, Brianna Hildebrand as Negasonic Teenage Warhead, and Morena Baccarin as Copycat. The film will also feature the mutant Colossus, though Daniel Cudmore has confirmed he will not appear as the character.

Tim Miller is directing the movie from a script by Zombieland writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick. Confirmed to be rated RDeadpool is scheduled for a release on February 12, 2016.
