The Dune cast includes Oscar Isaac as Duke Leto Atreides, Rebecca Ferguson as Lady Jessica, Zendaya as Chani, Jason Momoa as Duncan Idaho, Josh Brolin as Gurney Halleck, among the others. The upcoming film will cover only the story from the first half of Herbert’s novel. It focuses on Timothée Chalamet’s Paul Atreides, a young hero whose journey to become a great ruler will bring him to the desert planet Arrakis.

The upcoming movie will be the third Dune live-action adaptation after the 1984 film by David Lynch and John Harrison’s miniseries, which premiered on the Sci-Fi Channel back in 2000.

Dune will debut in theaters and on HBO Max on Oct. 22.
