List of major easter eggs in DC’s Peacemaker Season 2 Episode 7
Below is the list of major easter eggs in DC’s Peacemaker Season 2 Episode 7.
Hitler Mural in A.R.G.U.S. Building
During one of the scenes, the team finds a giant mural of none other than Der Führer Adolf Hitler in the A.R.G.U.S. building, confirming fans’ suspicion that this alternate Earth is actually Earth-X, where the Allied Forces lost the WW2 to Germany.
Mein Kampf on Every Desk
In “Like a Keith in the Night,” you can spot Mein Kampf, Hitler’s autobiography, on every worker’s desk, proving that everyone blindly follows his rules, and anyone who steps out of line is sent to the camps.
Lexcorp Scientist Sydney Harpersen
The episode also ties into James Gunn’s Superman universe. Sydney Harpersen gets a visit from Rick Flag Sr. and Agent Bordeux. Sydney is working for A.R.G.U.S. to track down Peacemaker’s portal.
In case you missed it, Sydney was the Black Specs LuthorCorp scientist who asked Luthor to shut down the rift when it was tearing apart Metropolis.
Sons of Liberty are Good Guys
On DC Comics’ Prime Earth, the Sons of Liberty are definitely the bad guys; they attack whoever they want, including superheroes and homosexuals, to push their agenda, but on Earth-X, they’re actually the good guys, fighting against the Nazi regime.
Even Adrian from Earth-X is part of the team.
Treaty of Qatar
By the end of the episode, our beloved Peacemaker is in handcuffs. We’re told it’s because of the QUC device he’s carrying, which apparently violates the “Treaty of Qatar” that bans illegal scientific tech. However, at this point, it is not clear how the aforementioned treaty plays into the story.
Detective Fitzgibbon
This alternate Earth even has its own Detective Fitzgibbon, just like the main universe. However, in this alternate reality, he is working alone, unlike in the main timeline, where he teamed up with Sophie Song.
Peacemaker’s QUC is Better than Lex’s
In Episode 7, Sydney confirms that Lex Luthor’s dimension portals were super unstable, but Peacemaker’s QUC can stay open for a long time. This makes Rick Flag Sr. grin, hinting that he’s got a plan of his own and is just waiting for the perfect moment to get his hands on the QUC.
With all these Easter eggs, Peacemaker Season 2, Episode 7 shows just how interconnected the DC Universe has become.
