The official account of Go For It, Nakamura! on X (formerly Twitter) recently announced the postponement of the series’ broadcast. In a brief statement, the team announced that production circumstances have delayed the series‘ release. The original plan was to air it in 2025, but they have now moved the release to 2026.
The statement mentioned, “The TV anime ‘Ganbare! Nakamura-kun!!,’ originally scheduled to begin broadcasting in 2025, has been rescheduled to 2026 due to production reasons. Detailed broadcast schedules will be announced on the anime’s official website and social media. We apologize for keeping viewers who were looking forward to the broadcast waiting. We look forward to your continued support of the TV anime ‘Ganbare! Nakamura-kun!!.'”
However, fans need not worry, as the series will have an advanced screening of Episodes 1 and 2 for selected candidates. Organizers will hold the advanced premiere on August 24, 2025, at these timings: 14:00, 16:00, and 18:00 (JST). To get an opportunity to attend this screening, fans must fill in an application. Organizers will select attendees on a lottery basis, and entry will be free for those chosen. The screening will take place somewhere in Tokyo. Organizers will send the official venue details personally to those selected. Please note that the cast will not appear for the screening. The results will be announced on August 11, 2025, via email.
