A limited-edition Fossil Fantastic Four watch featuring world-eater Galactus will be available soon. This new timepiece comes as part of the Marvel x Fossil collection celebrating the upcoming The Fantastic Four: First Steps movie. This collaboration has already been successful with its first watch, a replica of the retro-futuristic timepiece from the film, that’s already sold out. This Galactus watch from Fossil will likely be out of stock soon after it launches on July 14, 2025, so if you’re interested in buying it, you’ll need to get your hands on it as soon as it becomes available.
What is the Galactus Marvel x Fossil Fantastic Four watch?
The Galactus watch from the Marvel x Fossil collection is a collectible, limited-edition timepiece that comes with an oversized case and a custom look. Only 683 of these watches have been made, so supplies are limited.
The official description calls it “a larger-than-life watch” and says that it features “quartz three-hand movement with glowing silhouette dial and custom caseback.” As you can see from the pictures, the front features an outline of Galactus with a suitable galaxy background while the back shows off the cosmic entity in full color. At the top of the caseback is an engraving of the limited edition number.
Meanwhile, the 48 mm case itself features cover art of Galactus from the Marvel Comics archive, specifically the “Super Villain Classics: Galactus The Origin #1” cover. The packaging also comes with a certificate of authencity and a Silver Surfer lapel pin.
The price for the Galactus watch has not been revealed, but as a point of comparison, the Marvel x Fossil Fantastic Four replica watch costs $295. That watch comes with many different options for straps, so we expect the same for this Galactus timepiece. That said, the original purple metal-link strap in the pictures for the watch seem to match the rim of the central piece perfectly.
Fan theories believe that Galactus will be responsible for destroying the retro-futuristic Earth in The Fantastic Four: The First Steps as part of Doctor Doom’s plans in the upcoming Avengers: Doomsday. An $80 Galactus popcorn bucket will also be available at various theatres while supplies last.
