Invincible Season 4 Release Date Window, Cast & Things We Know

After a fascinating third season, fans are more than excited for Invincible Season 4, which already teased some big things to come at the conclusion of Season 3. The story appears to be getting interesting, with threats bigger than ever before.

When is Invincible Season 4’s expected release date window?

Invincible has not had the most linear schedule of all shows. The show has previously broken a season down into two parts despite being only eight episodes long. But the series has consistently come out with new episodes each year, barring 2022, since it premiered.

As per reports, the fourth season is expected to arrive sometime in 2026. In an update shared after the conclusion of the third season, Invincible executive producer and co-showrunner Simon Racioppa reportedly confirmed that the voice work for the season was complete and that the production had begun during Season 3 (via GamesRadar+).

Kirkman also confirmed the release window in an interview with Variety, saying, “The goal is to continue the cadence that we’ve had with seasons two and three. The plan is that you will see season four in 2026.”

Who is in Invincible Season 4’s cast so far?

In the fourth season of the show, Steven Yeun and J.K. Simmons are going to return as Mark Grayson and Omni-Man, respectively. Sandra Oh and Christian Convery are also expected to return as Debbie and Oliver, respectively.

Walton Goggins, Clancy Brown, Chris Diamantopoulos, Gillian Jacobs, and Seth Rogen are also slated to return to their respective roles. One major character in Invincible Season 4 would be Thragg, a major Viltrumite antagonist in the series. Who would play this role, however, remains a secret for now.

What do we know about Invincible Season 4’s plot?

The way the third season sets up the upcoming one, it is clear that Invincible Season 4 will be the most packed season to date. The finale of the third season introduced Darkblood, so that is one plot line the upcoming season would explore. Kirkman has confirmed that the plot with Darkblood would be original.

Apart from this, fans can expect to see a stronger and meaner Mark, who promised not to let any harm come to his family at the end of season 3. The primary threat to Mark and his family will still be from the Viltrumites.

As mentioned above, the fourth season is expected to feature Thragg, one of the biggest villains from the comics. He is described in the comics as the Grand Regent of the Viltrum Empire and one of the strongest of their kind.

The exact plot details of the upcoming season are yet to arrive.

Will Invincible Season 4 be the last one?

No, Invincible season 4 will not be the last season of the show.

There is a lot of material in the comics left, and Robert Kirkman hinted earlier that there could be as many as ten seasons of the show. More details about Invincible season 4 are expected to arrive soon.
