Build Zabu With Marvel Legends’ Upcoming Ka-Zar Wave

Marvel has made plenty of action figures of a mutant named Sabretooth, the arch-enemy of Wolverine. This time around, though, Hasbro‘s Marvel Legends line is making an actual sabretooth cat, namely Zabu, as the build-a-figure for a wave featuring his buddy Ka-Zar, who’s not exactly Tarzan but close enough.

The wave goes up for preorder this Thursday, Feb 22, at all your favorite online toy sites, with an expected ship date in May.

Eternally New

Making up the rest of the wave will be the Eternals’ Ikaris (comic version), Cable, Black Winter, Wolfsbane, Red Widow, and Superior Iron Man. All but Iron Man include a piece of Zabu. This wave was revealed on the Marvel Legends morning livestream today, but that wasn’t all. Unfortunately for those expecting Deadpool & Wolverine figures, the time is not right to reveal anything yet, but there will be something. In all likelihood, a Comic-Con exclusive will get things started — though that’s unconfirmed as of yet.

The next VHS-style packaged Spider-Man animated series will have you ready for Morbin’ Time! That’s right, Morbius, who’ll be paired with Doctor Strange, appears in his cartoon colors and no-biting-allowed-on-kid-shows vampire hands. Carnage will also get a retro-carded release in animated series colors, with bonus arms and accessories. He’ll be a Target exclusive, while a retro-carded Prowler with interchangeable unmasked head will be a Walmart exclusive.

Spidey gets further representation in a two-pack with Wolverine in Fantastic Four uniforms. Then, from the world of Captain America, Arnim Zola and Baron Zemo get an Amazon exclusive two-pack — these are reissue figures, but Zola was formerly a build-a-figure so this may be a better deal if you missed him. A SHIELD three-pack includes Nick Fury Jr., Sharon Carter, and Dum Dum, and will be a fan-channel exclusive.

The fan-stream ended with a tease of a small dagger.
