Supply chain delays may have pushed back NECA‘s 30th anniversary celebration of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze by a year, but it’s going to be worth the wait. Starting tomorrow, March 22, they begin accepting preorders for a new Turtles 4-pack, accessory pack, and a reissue of evil mutants Tokka and Rahzar. The preorder period will remain open for two weeks, through April 5 at 11 a.m. Eastern. While the Turtle figures will arrive at Walmart in two-packs at a later date, the accessory set and villains will — for now — only be available during this online window. NECA’s been known to reissue super-popular items, but it’s best not to count on that.
The Turtle four-pack online includes exclusive VHS video-style packaging, like the original Comic-Con exclusive set of the first movie Turtles. These are newly based on the second movie, with different skin tones, deco, and some new sculpting, along with all-new heads. And Mikey does indeed get the meat nunchuks as well as his regular versions.

The accessory pack includes an apron, skirt, and mop for housecleaning, as well as a pay phone, ’90s style home computer, portable keyboard. snacks, and even a baby, pre-Ooze Tokka and Rahzar. NECA notes that while the bonus heads will work with all their movie Turtles figures, the skin-tone specifically matches the new ones only. Tokka and Rahzar remain the same figures and accessories as previously released. Price-wise, the VHS style 4-pack runs $150 (about $33 per figure), accessory set $60, Tokka & Rahzar 2-pack $80. As NECA will make the items to order, delivery will likely happen a year from now or thereabouts.
