Boba Fett Takes the Throne With the Latest Hot Toys Figure Set

For years, Star Wars fans wondered about the fate of Boba Fett. Sure, several tie-in novels and comics suggested he survived the slow-digesting Sarlacc. But with nothing after Return of the Jedi confirmed as official canon for so long, that got left to the imagination of Expanded Universe writers and readers. Finally, The Mandalorian season 2 not only confirmed that Fett lives — it set up his own series too. And the key scene establishing that storyline just got announced as a Hot Toys collectible. Boba Fett’s latest figure sits atop the custom throne in Jabba’s palace, originally made for Bib Fortuna.

This Fett outfit, with a more Kenner-style color scheme and Tatooine skirt, is dubbed the Repaint Armor version. Hot Toys will make him available with and without the throne, because they’re pricey, but not monsters. But the deluxe set includes miniature holograms of Slave I and the Razor Crest.

Now that we know for sure what Boba Fett looks like under his helmet, the figure includes a Temuera Morrison likeness as well as the Mandalorian mask. Other bonuses include a separate figure stand and flame blast effect. Fennec Shand, pictured, does not come included but will no doubt get an official announcement soon.
