Grogu, Blurrg, and The Bad Batch’s Echo Join Hot Toys Star Wars Ranks

It’s a big day for Hot Toys Star Wars reveals. Not one, not two, but three new products…and a bit more. May the 4th is with you, but it’s gonna try to take a lot of your money today. Everyone loves The Mandalorian, but the company also counts on the fact that everyone will love The Bad Batch. Though unlike the animated version, it appears Hot Toys will officially license Temuera Morrison’s likeness for the primary eponymous characters.

Hunter’s just a tease for now. But Echo and his multiple mechanical limbs? Up for preorder right now. The lone “reg” of the Bad Batch, with no genetic deviations from the Clone norm but plenty of cybernetic enhancements…comes with plenty of them. Included with the figure? Autility arm with two interchangeable hands (pistol holding hand, relax hand), grasper arm with articulated pincers (equipped with detachable wire), jackhammer arm (with retractable function), manipulator arm, and computer interface arm. The one-man arm-y costs $285 and ships next summer.

Every Mandalorian needs a trusty ride, and thus Hot Toys will also deliver the Blurrg.

More reliable across treacherous territory than a speeder, if they know the terrain, Blurrgs can get difficult to train but effective once broken in. Scaled at 1/6 to carry most 12-inch figures, the Blurrg by itself runs $315, or $555 in a package deal with Din Djarin in season 1 armor. It includes a base, and arm and leg articulation.

As for Din’s most valuable companion, he’s getting a new look too.

At $145, the new 1/6 Grogu accessory set stands as one of the cheapest Hot Toys Star Wars items to date. It comes with three unarticulated Grogus with different heads, two with magnetic feature to attach to the included hover pram. The buyer also gets a storage container, Lothcat, Sorgan frog, and two different stands for the pram. As Hot Toys can produce figures without articulation more quickly, he’ll see release in early 2022.
