Bo-Katan Kryze Joins the Ranks of Star Wars Hot Toys

Rarely does an animated character get so perfectly cast that the same actor can play them just as well in live-action. But when Katee Sackhoff appeared on The Mandalorian season 2 as The Clone Wars‘ Bo-Katan Kryze, Star Wars fans everywhere rejoiced. The leader of the Nite Owls wasn’t just a fan favorite; she also cleared up a whole lot of apparent inconsistencies in the timeline. Confusing Din Djarin and new viewers, she clarified that not all Mandalorians hide behind helmets at all times. And by mentioning Children of the Watch, hinted at what may have become of Death Watch.

Now Bo-Katan Kryze has a Hot Toys figure coming, as becomes inevitable for every popular (or easily repaintable) Star Wars character. Per the official description, she features, “a newly developed head sculpt with remarkable likeness, skillfully crafted Mandalorian helmet and armor with weathering effects, meticulously tailored and form-fitting under-suit, a jetpack with booster fire effects, a pair of blasters, a dagger blade, diorama accessory, and a themed display stand.”

Bo-Katan Kryze costs $285 and ships next spring. Assuming likeness rights pan out, it should be relatively easy for Hot Toys to make minor revisions and do Koska Reeves (Sasha Banks) next.
