Exclusive Preview: The Wrong Earth: Night & Day #2

In 2019, Ahoy Comics’ The Wrong Earth introduced two incarnations of the same superhero. The first version, Dragonflyman, was the campy and well-meaning hero of Earth-Alpha. However, Dragonfly was the dark anti-hero of Earth-Omega. Regardless, they were blissfully unaware of each others’ existence until they were trapped on their respective Earths. Now, Dragonfly lives in a world where his dead sidekick, Stinger, is still alive. He also has a romantic relationship with the reformed villainess, Lady Dragonflyman. As for Dragonflyman, he’s got a new Stinger too. But he hasn’t had much luck bringing his comic book morality to his new grim and gritty world.

The Wrong Earth: Night & Day #1 picked up a year later, as the two heroes discovered that the “mirror” gateways between worlds are open again. Unfortunately, the new portals led to a third world: Earth-Zeta. And the twin Dragonflys literally crashed into each other when they arrived to face the new threat.

In Superhero Hype’s exclusive preview for The Wrong Earth: Night & Day #2, Tom Peyer and artists Jamal Igle & Juan Castro finally bring Dragonfly and Dragonflyman face-to-face. There’s a style clash to be sure, but Dragonflyman’s insane gadgets still work in this reality. Meanwhile, the real villain is making their next move.

Here’s the official description from Ahoy Comics:

“As environmental crises bring gritty Dragonfly and campy Dragonflyman face-to-face on a third Wrong Earth, a twist of fate makes them inseparable—a situation neither crimefighter wants!”

The Wrong Earth: Night & Day #2 will hit comic book stores on Wednesday, February 3.
