Exclusive Preview: Captain Marvel #10

Until recently, Carol Danvers was one of the most beloved heroines in the Marvel Universe. However, Captain Marvel has run into some serious PR problems. First, she was outed as a half-Kree, half-human hybrid; which destroyed the public’s trust in her. Then she was somehow infected by a Kree virus that is wrecking havoc with her powers. It didn’t help that a new heroine, Star, has completely stolen Carol’s thunder. But when Carol’s old adversary, Minerva, resurfaced with an offer to assist her, Carol thought her enemy was revealed. Unfortunately for Carol, Minerva was innocent this time and her true foe is ready for her.

In Superhero Hype’s exclusive preview for Captain Marvel #10,  Kelly Thompson and artist Carmen Carnero catch up with Carol as she calls out Star. While Star openly acknowledges that she’s been behind the campaign to destroy Captain Marvel, she’s still got the public’s support for now. But who is beneath Star’s mask? Is it someone from Carol’s past or a new adversary?
