Star Trek vs Transformers #1 Preview Pits Kirk And Crew Against Decepticons

The USS Enterprise crew and your favorite Autobots are about to make comics history in the upcoming crossover from IDW Publishing, Star Trek Vs Transformers.

IDW, has released the first look at the four part mini-series that hits stores this Wednesday, September 26. Keeping the style of Star Trek: The Animated Series and the original G1 era Transformers, this ambitious crossover instantly brings us back to a Golden Age that we have been desperately been. As you can see in the gallery below, the artwork is filled with ’80s Transformers designs and a Saturday morning animation style that is sure to attract long-time fans as well as newer readers.

Mike Johnson, the co-writer of the mini-series, shared his enthusiasm for the event back with the following statement: “This is a crossover several decades in the making, and we could not be more thrilled to bring it to fans. John [Barber] and I are having a blast writing the first meeting of Starfleet and Cybertronians, and Phil [Murphy] is the perfect artist to bring these two franchises together on the page.”
