Kevin Feige Says Moon Knight Won’t Pull Back From Its “Brutal” Moments

Next month, Moon Knight will become the first MCU series of 2022. And unlike its predecessors on Disney+, it sounds like this series won’t be pulling its proverbial punches. During a new interview with Empire Magazine, Kevin Feige promised that the show won’t shy away from its brutal moments.

“He’s brutal,” said Feige tells Empire. “It’s been fun to work with Disney+ and see the boundaries shifting on what we’re able to do. There are moments [in the series] when Moon Knight is wailing on another character, and it is loud and brutal, and the knee-jerk reaction is, ‘We’re gonna pull back on this, right?’ No. We’re not pulling back. There’s a tonal shift. This is a different thing. This is Moon Knight.”
