Marvel’s Hawkeye Debuts New Character Posters For Eleanor and Jack

There are only two episodes left of Marvel’s Hawkeye, but it remains to be seen if “uncle” will prove to be the show’s ultimate villain. In the meantime, there are two likely suspects for the big bad: Eleanor Bishop, and her fiancé, Jack Duquesne. Now, Disney+ has released two new Hawkeye character posters for Eleanor and Jack.

First up is Vera Farmiga’s Eleanor Bishop, the mother of Kate Bishop (Hailee Steinfeld) and the CEO of Bishop Security. Eleanor isn’t overtly threatening or villainous. And yet she lied to Kate’s face after her daughter heard Armand threaten her life. And it was awfully convenient that Armand was murdered a short time later. Additionally, Eleanor placed a very suspicious phone call in episode 4.

It’s too easy to assume that Tony Dalton’s Jack Duquesne is evil. Anyone who has seen Better Call Saul knows how good he is at being bad. Jack’s ties to the Tracksuit Mafia have already been revealed. He is also suspiciously talented with swords, and largely unconcerned with the death of his uncle, Armand. Plus, Kate hates him. And yet Jack could turn out to be too obvious as the primary suspect. In other words, he may be a red herring.

We may learn more about Eleanor and Jack in Hawkeye episode 5, which will hit Disney+ on Wednesday, December 15.
