People are so hypocritical. If the X-Men had worn the brightly colored costumes in the cartoon, they would have complained it was too "cartoonish". Because they didn't, people complain that it wasn't "cartoonish" enough. Grant it, this is not the best movie ever made, but its still good enough I can sit down and watch it every time its on.

The X-men movies make me so mad. They are the worst super-hero movies ever... wait, maybe the Hulk was the worst one ever, but X-men comes in a close second. The reason why they are so bad is because they aren't movies of X-men. Not the X-men I know and love. The X-men I know wear brightly colored costumes that are visualy pleasing and classic looking. X-men do not wear black leather and copy off of the Matrix constantly. When I go to see a movie of X-men, I want to see the real X-men. If that idiot Bryan Singer can't except that fact that the X-men wear yellow and blue costumes then he shouldn't be allowed to make the movies. If he dosen't like what he's making a movie of, he shouldn't be making a movie of it. If he wants to make a movie about a group of super-humans that is really lame and copying off of other movies then he should go ahead and do it, but don't call it X-men.
The movies of X-men have ruined every single X-men character. Let's take a look at some examples. Storm. Storm is supposed to be the oldest, wisest X-man, besides Porfessor X. In the movies she's a ditzy little idiot. Who cast Halle Barry as Storm? That person should be fired. Don't get me wrong, Halle Barry is a fine actress and extremely beautiful, I've loved ever since I saw the Flinstones movie, but she is defiently not Storm. In the movies of X-men whenever they want someone to say something dumb or obvious to feed the storyline to the audience, they have Storm say it. She dosen't have any other lines. The movie's Storm is so lame. Storm is supposed to be the toughest X-man. She can strike you with lightening if she wants! Fwiggin' Lightening! She could beat Magneto in two seconds if she wanted. But, they throw her away in the movies.
Look at what the movie did to Lady Deathstrike! The same thing it did to Sabertooth, the movie dumbed her down and turned her into a lame henchman. She's supposed to be awesome and incredibly strong. The first time Jublee met Wolverine in the comic, he had just been crusified by Lady Deathstrike. She's such an interesting and deep character who has a huge history with Wolverine, but they threw her away in the movie.
Look at what the movies did to Cyclopse. I can't believe they ruined Cyclopse. Last time I checked, Cyclopse is supposed to be the main character of X-men. He is the main X-man. He is the good guy. He is the on that the movie is supposed to follow most of the time. In the movies they turned him into a stupid jerk whose soul purpose for existing is to make you like Wolverine more. Wolverine is not the main character of X-men. Didn't he not show up in X-men until like a decade after the comic was created? Why is he the main character of these movies? Why isn't he a short, hairy jerk that is the mean one of the group. Wolverine is supposed to make Cyclopse look nicer, not the other way around. Wolverine is the coolest X-man and he is everyone's favorite, but he is by no means the main character. Cyclopse is the main character and he wasn't even in X2(X2: X-men United? that is the dumbest name for a movie ever). Seriously, Cyclopse is not in X2 at all. The movies have ruined both Wolverine and Cyclopse.
I could go on with how the movies have ruined every other character, but I hate typing and you get the picture. The main thing that is wrong with the X-men movies is that the people making them did not accept that they were making a movie of the comic X-men. They had no guts to try anything unique with these movies. They dumbed down the X-men story into lame action movies and simplified the characters into genaric, stupid, action movie nobodies. They played it safe with these movies by copying off of the Matrix and using Wolverine a ton. They made the X-men wear stupid outfits because they were too lazy to try and make real X-men outfits. If they say that X-men outfits from the comic wouldn't look good in real life, then they are complete idiots. Look a Spider-Man from his movies. He looks great because he looks how he looks in the comic and the costumes from the movie tried very hard to make Spidey look right. The people that make the X-men movies are idiots not worthy of making those movies. Bryan Singer has such a big responsibility with these movies and he's crapping all over them. X-men was the best comic ever, better than Superman, Batman, and Spider-Man (although Spidey is my favorite, I have to admit, X-men was higher quality). X-men should be the best movies ever, but the people making them are idiots. I hope they do not make a third X-men movie. I hope people forget about these two x-men movies. I hope this faze started by the stupid movies of the X-men wearing black in the comics passes and the X-men can get back to how they are supposed to look. I hope Bryan Singer never makes another movie again. I hope these disgraceful X-men movies fade from our memories just like the Captan America movies and the original Punisher. Geeze, you'd think movies like Spider-Man and Spider-man

This movie has a lot going for it. The actors were exceptional compared to the first movie, and the story was much improved. Nightcrawler was incredible, and the CGI mixed well with the acting. My only gripe with this and the last movie is the lack of new X-Men. I was really hoping to see Beast in this one, as he is my favorite X-Man. The Colossus cameo was good, but it wouldn't hurt to have included more X-Men. I was also dissapointed with Iceman. He was way too cowardly, they could have done a lot more with him. Besides that, it was twenty times better than the last movie.
