A new bit of casting information has gone out through Los Angeles’ Central Casting Facebook
page. It seems that the new David E. Kelley "Wonder Woman" series is in need of muscle-bound miltary types. The full post reads:
"Central Casting Los Angeles is looking for Super Buff, Worked out, Bodybuilder Type Guys to play soldiers that appear to be on steroids for Wonder Woman. This will work at the end of march or beginning of April. Email bodyshots with all sizes and contact info to firstname.lastname@example.org. if you know someone not registered with Central Casting please let them know they can submit too!"
The series, starring "Friday Night Lights" actress Adrianne Palicki, is said to be a reinvention of the iconic DC Comics title in which Wonder Woman – aka Diana Prince – is a vigilante crime fighter in Los Angeles, but also a successful corporate executive and a modern woman trying to balance all of the elements of her extraordinary life.
Kelley and Bill D’Elia ("Boston Legal," "The Practice") are the executive producers. The pilot was written by Kelley and will be directed by Jeffrey Reiner (NBC’s "The Event").
