Please keep Jackman out of this franchise and reboot it once and for all.

I hope it's better than the first.

Let's do it, I really want another Wolverine movie. This time I hope they stick closer to the material and leave Deadpool out of it if that's what you're going to do to him. More Gambit would be great, but he needs to be more Cajun and more with the cards!

Damn that Hugh... Just when you say to yourself "I really don't want him to make another" Hugh gets up and talks about what he wants to do.... And you go "Okay... you can do one more... but make it good!"
Such a charmer...

Jackman and Fox Studios have done more damage to ruin the credibility of Wolverine than I ever imagined possible.
This guy practically thinks he is Wolverine. Go back to tap dancing and Broadway and let Marvel Films make the next Wolverine movie.

Hugh is the man. Just hope they make the next one more gritty and dark. Maybe we can avoid the fox camp.

How about Wolverine vs the Hulk.
Ed Norton and Hugh.
Battle of the raging heroes.

are you naysayers stoned or stupid? The guy practically brought about the current surge of successful super hero movies single handed. Cut him some slack!
Posted by: Dragonnus on October 7, 2009 at 11:06:50
He is Wolverine, just as much Christian Bale is Batman and Christopher Reeve is Superman.

actually, Jehosaphat, Wesley Snipes as Blade brought about the surge of successful super hero films. There wasn't anything before Blade really.

You have to remember this site is full of morons who cannot think for themselves so stupid comments are expected.
Hugh is such a great guy - I will always support him no matter what type of work he chooses to do.
And I agree Jehosaphat - where would superhero movies be without him?
Posted by: ohsnap on October 7, 2009 at 11:19:07
Rowe - and where's Wesley Snipes now?

i do rate hughjackman as logan its just the wolverine film didnt hold up with TIHulk or IRONMAN or TDKnight or WATCHMEN or even hellboy2 it was the worst comicbookfilm that year 08 no offense to jackman he is wolverine but the film was to cheesy they foxed it up
Posted by: maskedavenger on October 7, 2009 at 11:20:28
Looking for REALISM - so what your trying to say is that if you like HJ or Wolverine your happy?
IDIOT.
Posted by: lololo on October 7, 2009 at 11:21:54
Give me Wolverine over TDK and Watchmen anyday of the week.
Even with FOX making them.

honestly, i have enjoyed the xmen movies thus far, wolverine included. yes, there are a number of parts that are way out of the timeline like in wolverine, but it's certain cameos of other heroes, villains, or anti heroes that make people want to see these films. it's what makes some people feel like kids again when they first picked up their very first comic book. years ago, wizard magazine did their version of a casting call for the first xmen movie before idea for the movie came about. one of the actors made the cut, patrick stewart. hugh jackman wasn't on the list but guess what? he's the main reason the movies did so well because above all else... everyone likes the wolverine character. for the people that don't like hugh jackman or xmen or wolverine, don't bother seeing the sequels then you won't cry about the issues you think you have.

Very disappointed by this film. Great actors and director, lousy story/plot. Was made too bland to appeal to a mass audience. And next time please, a character with razor sharp claws should have some blood in his movie. The film failed to have that emotional punch needed to make it stand out from the crowd.

Rowe makes a solid point regardless of where Snipes is now. He's talking influence on the genre - not influence on an actor's career.
Posted by: Rowe on October 7, 2009 at 11:29:16
exactly. Wesley made stupid tax decisions and film decisions. But I think Blade was one of his best. He did a lot for the genre. What was there before Blade? That Fantastic Four movie? That one was AWESOME

u got a remember, most fanboys on here are ****ly fixated on comics, they dont have sex much so they want like a gory, sophmoric version of wolverine where he's chompin on a cigar and saying bub and is covered in blood. a movie that would bomb but would satisfy overweight, bitter comic book dudes who sit around thinking of fictional characters waaaay too much. If they had an engaging job, a family, a sex life their attitudes would be more relaxed about the wolverine movie. but this is all they can do is obsess about comics.

Long time since I had the chance to post. I always have a laughing riot reading you kids( notwithstanding our actual age, that's exactly what you sound like). Always puting blame on one person, most of you don't have half the knowledge necessary to make a motion picture. Internet and computers are fine, doing a fan movie is easy enough now, but try putting together an honest, and good movie out there, and you'll see. Then we would be laughing. To write such comments, you really have too much time on your hands, try doing something with your life for change (can't wait to see reactions to this). I'm 39, always have followed different productions, starting my own independant companie, so I do know what I'm talking about. A project like this depends on so many people that it is always a team effort. I find Hugh a very good actor, he could do a more feral wolverine if asked, I'm sure. A Japan story could be good, that is were he learned to control his rage.
