I look like that. Than I wake up. Dang he's buff, pumpin' da juice I'm thinking. But with the standards put on by the world who can blame him.

Good thing they don't have steroid testing for SAG.
I wonder if Ryan will be juiced up again like he was in Blade 3 for his role as Deadpool.

Just wanted to log on and remind everyone that this movie wont even hold a candle to The Dark Knight.
I like to log on and remind everyone who great The Dark Knight was.
I also like to talk about how much Watchmen is going to to suck semen.

wow he is super ripped!!
it's a true shame that it'll go to waste in what seems to be yet another disappointment in the x-men series.
i dont blame hugh, i actually love the guy and think he's an awesome wolverine, i blame FOX. FOX for butchering almost every single comic adaptation they have laid their hands on. they don't care for the source material, they dont care about the fans they only care about their general audience which ironically turns their backs on these movies b/c they hold no substance and are just plain sh**ty.
fox is so far up their a** that they actually think they can trick the general audience into buying into their crappy comic book movies. but they can't.
if the studio has faith in their writters, actors and directors then you get awesome movies like iron man, dark knight and the new hulk and the first two spiderman films. fox feels like they need to control every aspect of their films b/c they think they know better.
ugh.
anyway end of rant.
here's hoping Marvel gets it's rights to xmen again and we get some awesome films.

Wow my man Hugh Jackman totally transformed his body for this film that is reason enough to watc XO:W!
Posted by: jordanepic on February 27, 2009 at 03:57:49
Buddy of mine worked on the set. Said Hugh would eat plain chicken breast every 2hrs and would drop and do tons of pushups every time they yelled cut.
Posted by: Locokat on February 27, 2009 at 04:04:58
I would just like to say, when are they gonna make movies that stand true and compell folks that aren't comic fans to go out and buy back issues to truly see what the story is about?
Posted by: ZakMan on February 27, 2009 at 04:24:44
I'm just bothered thhat he has some weird accent in the movie, and that his hair is only completely off... and that it's supposed to be 'well under 2 hours'.... and theres no Captain America and no Magneto for himto save in WWII... Hey wasn't Nick Fury also in WWII?... They better not screw this up
Posted by: ZakMan on February 27, 2009 at 04:28:45
Oh and I forgot to add... F* U* Bryan Singer, thanks for leavin X3 for it to be F*ed up and make a Shi*Tty Superman movie, whom is a homo in the first place

Looks physically suited as Wolverine, here's hoping the film actually holds substance!
Deinately gonna see it though.

Harish!
Yep. Have to agree. Hugh is ripped. However, this film is only going to force feed us our annual dosage of special effects with no real substance.
I would like to see Wolverine in some semblance or adaptation of his Marvel costume. Whether it's yellow and blue, or tan and brown...I don't care. But I know that's never going to happen because Fox doesn't get it. That's why we never got Sentinels in the X-Men franchise, or Asteroid M or Apocolypse. All of which were doable.
Not holding out too much hope for this movie. But Hugh Jackman is the man, though.
Harish!

Am I the only one sick to death of seeing Wolverine in a white tank top all the damn time? It gets old.

I'm tired of being let down. Where are all of you guys on the message boards? In all seriousness there needs to be more people in the boards disowning this movie; too much blind positivity.
Posted by: danny on February 27, 2009 at 06:08:45
too much blind negativity in here.
Posted by: Miles on February 27, 2009 at 06:11:01
this movie is as different from the comics as the Dark Knight was. Not a bad thing.

MGS Movie
Hugh Jackman as Solid Snake.
Clint Eastwood as Big Boss

He looks Suuuuuppper! Thanks for asking!

Jackman looks great here...and btw I am getting seriously pissed off at all the movie Deadpool haters out there who are losing their damn minds over the action figure and its 'tribal designs' and the fact that 'OMG I'm going to whine as much as possible about Fox ruining another character before I've seen the ****ing movie'.
1. It's an Origin fim geniuses! We're going to see pretty face Ryan Reynolds as an unscarred Wade who also happens to wield some massive sword skills, then he's going to get the operation, gaining his healing factor which will lead to his scarred appearance, then he's going to go insane (insert taping adamantium blades to himself here) then he's going to finally don his trademark mask and I'd just like to say that would be one hell of a set-up for a sequel. Where at the end, as Wolverine walks away, Deadpool emerges from the rubble wearing his new mask and pulls out his trademark twin kitanas and says 'Lets dance'. That's Deadpool's origin, ****ing deal with it!
2. If you've read as many Deadpool comics as I have then you know that he's a crazy enough guy to tape blades to his hands to try and combat Wolverine...and ten bucks says he'll make some crack about resembling Baraka from Mortal Kombat, because thats how his personality is and dont be surprised if he looks to the screen and says 'Dont I look ridiculous?' He breaks the fourth wall and makes many many pop-culture references. That's Deadpool.
3. Of course his scars look like tribal design tattoos, how else is Hasbro going to mass-produce a scarred doll to kids? It's pretty obvious from the limited trailer footage that he's not covered in tattoos, the body paint is just there way of 'politely' putting scars on the toy for 10 year olds...look at the smaller kiddy toy...do you see any body paint? No you dont, do you see scar marks and a bald scarred head? Yes you do!

@ Tommy
MGS Movie
Hugh Jackman as Solid Snake.
Clint Eastwood as Big Boss
Agreed on Hugh as Solid Snake, but Sean Connery "I´ll kick your arse gangster mofo" should be Big Boss, after all he´s the inspiration for the character, though Clint wouldn´t be a bad option.
Getting sick of comic properties being constantly raped and brutalized by Fox****
Not Hugh´s fault, but the X-Men series needs to be rebooted, here´s why:
- *****y Cyclops. He needs to be the field leader, or at least a tough bastard.
- *****y actress playing Storm. I know she can act, but whoever plays her again needs to stay in character, and not play with the monster´s balls.
- Abe simpson playing Magneto. Meaning Sir Ian McKellen was too old, not that he did it bad. Always thought that Jeremy Irons would make a great classical Magneto, or Josh Brolin as the tough buffed 90´s version as a second choice.
- S&M X-Suits. Don´t know how, but still thinking they can work out differently, like staying true to comics but with muted colors, specially Wolverine´s brown & tan one could work out. I mean Batman and Watchmen did it, and worse than these actual versions, they can´t turn out.

I'm secure enough to admit that Hugh Jackman is my man crush.
Posted by: Tommy on February 27, 2009 at 09:50:52
Yeah Sean would be ousstanding as Big Boss. I only thought of Clint because he looks like Hugh. But in MGS4-GOTP Big Boss doesnt look like much like Snake, so maybe Clint could play Old Snake.
