New Wolverine Promo Photo

The new issue of Empire magazine has this new promo photo of Hugh Jackman as Wolverine for 20th Century Fox's X-Men Origins: Wolverine, opening May 1, 2009. Directed by Gavin Hood from a David Benioff, the action-thriller co-stars Liev Schreiber, Ryan Reynolds, Taylor Kitsch, Will.i.am, Danny Huston, Dominic Monaghan, Daniel Henney and Lynn Collins.
Leading up to the events of X-Men, X-Men Origins: Wolverine tells the story of Wolverine's epically violent and romantic past, his complex relationship with Victor Creed, and the ominous Weapon X program. Along the way, Wolverine encounters many mutants, both familiar and new, including surprise appearances by several legends of the X-Men universe.

Well, blow me down with a barrel of bananas. I've never seen a pic of Wolverine with claws and a wife-beater before. Yawn. Consider me unexcited. This picture tells us zero. zzzzzz

A very beautiful picture of Wolverine. Hugh Jackman has captured Wolverine beautifully. He was born to play the legendary X-Men character. LONG LIVE X-MEN!!!!!

Yes, Wolverine doesn't age like normal, but hasn't Hugh Jackman? So since HE has aged since X1,2 and 3, make HIM look younger looking to fit?

All I'm hoping is that Wolvie actually, definitively WINS a fight with a mutant in this movie. For a guy who's "the best there is at whea he does" he sure gets his butt handed to him EVERY movie.
Sabretooth: he needs Cyclops to blast him off the Statue of Liberty for him. Mystique: She kicks his butt and he only takes her down cause she tried to trick him. Deathstrike: mops the floor with him till he has to cheat and use the adamantium feed to kill her as she's cutting him to ribbons. Juggernaut: basically plays hackey sack with Wolvie.
In fact the only fights he wins are with normal, powerless humans and a couple of D-lister mutants in Magneto's camp.
Please let Wolvie win one!

I hope this movie is going to be dark like the dark knight. If it isn't it's not going to do well.
We need to see wolverine do some serious killing. The movies and cartoon water him down way to much.
I think this is the last chance to see the real wolverine. Right now they make he talk tough but we don't get to see the real wolverine.
For all who have ever read a wolverine comic book, you know what i'm talking about.
If you never heard of wolverine and you picked up a wolverine comic book, you would think he's a bad guy.
I loved the beginning of the 1st X-men movie. I hope this movie is like that.

Could one of the legends of the marvel universe possibly be Captain America? The idea for the Avengers movie has already been brought up at the end of iron man and the hulk and we know that wolverine fought beside him in ww2. could a well placed Captain America cameo set up captain americas own movie.

it looks cool and all, but i wanna see the OTHER characters!!!!!!!!! namely gambit blob and deadpool, i hope deadpool looks exactly lik he does in the mainstream comics
