Jung and Spidey!!!

Wtf? Hugh Jackman is awesome as Wolverine. And, Jung, I think the word that you were looking for was virile (not feral). Besides, who would you prefer play Wolverine? Any ideas? Probably not, hit the books, nerd!

Pretty tired of wolverine looking tough and sexy. fans need a real costume. The Alex ross concept was perfect. Not the Logan line of wife beaters he wears all the time with the levy's and boots. But it doesnt look like anyone will have a costume in this franchise

Raiden,

If you want to stick with Batman, check out: The Killing Joke, Hush, Death in the Family and The Dark Knight Returns.

If want Wolverine/X-Men, check out: Wolverine Origins, Marvel Comic Presents: Weapon X, House of M, Days of Future Past, Age of Apocalypse.

Now The Incredible Hulk: Planet Hulk, World War Hulk, Hulk Visionaries

DD: Marked for Death, Born Again and the ones that Kevin Smith was involved in. I been out of the DareDevil loop for some time.

This better not be some PG crappolini. WHEN do we get to see an actual Wolverine berserker rage? Ya know? The kind that turns Hellion security guards into hamburger .... THEN in the Reavers ...... WHEN?!

Look at the time I posted the DareDevil comment...11:34 turn it the other way and it spells hell (at least on a digital clock). That always happens to me.

Since when is Sabertooth wolverines brother?

Posted by: FireFly's Enigma on July 7, 2008 at 12:53:12

I was confused about that comment as well. I even went to Marvel and Wiki and found nothing to make that true. o_O

He's not. That guy was full of it.

Posted by: FireFly's Enigma on July 7, 2008 at 12:57:56

I didn't think so. I know my Wolverine history but he has so much history I was like "did I miss something". It's my OCD. hehe!

In some issues, Logan, Victor and Maverick were a team.

Wolverine was born in the late 1890s.

His healing factor retards the body's aging process so slowly that Bloodscream thought him immortal after seeing him in WWII then about 40 years later in Madripoor unchanged by time.

Despite being about 109-113 years old, he retains the youth and vitality of a man in his prime.

Sabretooth is not Wolverine's brother.

Just as he is not Wolverine's father or vise-versa. There is no relation to either, apart from Forge's theory that they may have been part of a very rare species of humans who were descended from cats rather than apes.

Not only has the Weapon X program tampered with his memories, his own healing factor also amends psychological wounds inflicted as a result of traumatic experiences. By having Wolverine's healing powers force his mind to suppress the memories, sometimes resulting in amnesia.

Didn't Logan regained all of his memories after House of M.

Sweet...a different angel of Wolverine crossing his arms...

Come on Hollywood. You have decades of "Wolverine" comic covers to choose from. I know all your Hollywood graphic designers can come up with something more creative than this.

You gotta keep in mind wolverine has looked the same since he became wolverine. If he ages at all it is incredibly slowly, so all jackman had to do was get more jacked and practice being really pissed off. Worst case is they had to dye his hair if he had some stray greys.

meh

i don't really want to see any hype or whatever. just wanna see the movie.

hahaha!....yea, those claws do get thicker.

I'm just curious how they are gonna fit all those bits and pieces together that we were given in the comics over the last decade or so.
I hope they can create a good story from it that everyone can understand. If not, this might be the last movie they'll ever make of Wolverine and that would be a shame 'cause there have been so many good stories of him that would make a great movie.

doesn't he own any other clothes but white tank-tops?

I pledge allegiance, to the flag so I can stab stuff with my shiny claws.

Posted by: Tucker on July 7, 2008 at 16:59:19

For the love of sweet goodness, please no bone claws. Absolute worst idea they ever had for Wolverine was to give him the bone claws. One of the cheapest "outs" I've ever seen taken in comics too. There was always something very disturbing about the guys running the Weapon X program giving him the claws. They undercut that, no pun intended, by giving him the bone claws. I really hope they don't include them in the film version.

wolverine started out w/ bones as his claws.hopfully they show that, but i dout it

Posted by: SMACKTARD on July 7, 2008 at 18:14:25

this looks like the first teaser only at a different angle. WEAK!!!

I'm still not convinced that this is going to be the complete raw animalistic rated R telling of the WOLVERINE that we all know an love.

I'm sure the backstory will be as complete as can be for 1 film, but I am craving for some real WOLVERINE hack and slash! We, as the hardcore fans and new fans alike, need some feral rage with blood and guts!

This should not be a "feelgood" movie with a "unity" message anywhere in the film. This movie should really show the HELL that Logan calls HOME.

These teasers just don't justify that enough.
