I'm disappointed that the original Nite Owl looks as threatening as Woody Allen.

that was some sweet dispensing of justice.

Is the trailer at the end new, because I haven't seen it before. It's badass, anyway.

That was kick-ass.
It's great to see more like this, i remember TDK and that was awsome! This rules too!

To Tighelander:
Woody Allen... hahahahahaha!!!
Loved the "hidden" trailer after winning... the extra footage was a nice treat!

extra film footage if you beat it
the game is weak though

Night owl's kick looks retarded.
Anyway I hate simulated minute-men hunting, I go for the real deal. Nothing's sweeter than beating the scum of the criminal underground to a bloody pulp!

the game is weak though

It is, but I think the point is that it's exactly like the weak movie tie-in video games that were churned out during the 80s (see Robocop, Batman, Judge Dredd, etc. etc.)
It's cool for that reason.

Unbelievable. The anticipation is killing me for this movie. Is this movie going to be rated 'R'?
Posted by: Keith on February 12, 2009 at 12:52:11
Yes. The BBFC (The British Board of Film Classification) also rated it yesterday with an 18 certificate and with a running time of 161mins 54secs.
I would link to it, but it seems the link has been deleted...

That brought back a lot of memories.
Funny marketing idea.

It's rated HARD R. Not measly piddly R but OMFG THATS INSANE!! R. In conclusion that game sucked. It was like Final Fight only less cool (if that's possible)

that was the best marketing campaign ever. if this doesn't convince any of you that warner bros wants to give the fans a faithful Watchmen movie, then i don't know what will. i don't know what it will take to convince the whiney fans that zack snyder truly is doing the best possible to give us a cinematic masterpiece on par with the masterpiece graphic novel known as Watchmen. i cannot wait for this movie. just less than a month away, people. i will be there at midnight. rain, sleet or snow, I WILL BE THERE!
as for the quality of the game? i know it doesn't have deep gameplay say like, gears of war or halo, but that is why we have the "End is Nigh..." game coming out on xbox live later on during the release of the movie. but think about it dudes and dudettes, this mini game was made for the hardcore fans of the book. its the thought that counts, right?

This is going to be the best movie of the year! I'm glad it's almost 3 hours long. I was worried they'd make it too short.

FIRST! Wait...what? After this comes out, they should get to work on a sequel right away! Bryan Singer could direct it! Or George Lucas!
Samuel L Jackson could play...anyone! And all the "heroes" could wear black leather outfits! And the soundtrack could be all Linkin Park, and Disturbed...and that "bodies hitting the floor" song.
I'm FULL of good ideas. Just ask my mom. She thinks I'm SO handsome.

The ketchup dripping from the hamburger onto the Smiley pin is great!
Posted by: gibbyblaylock on February 12, 2009 at 14:20:37
B!,
That would be SOOO cool! They could also have a cameo appearance by whatever musician is popular right now, and the main female love interest could be played by a completely different, yet uglier, woman, and the ragtag team of heroes could finally defeat the badguy played by a European actor by using the power of TEAMWORK!
Also they should have some teenagers in there played by people who are, like, 32.
Then have Rorschach jump over a shark on water skis.
And there absolutely MUST be a scene where all of the main characters walk shoulder-to-shoulder toward the camera in slow motion while looking intense. This should be set to a song you'd expect to hear in a Mountain Dew commercial.
