The Scream Awards Watchmen Teaser!

The SCREAM 2008 awards aired tonight (full list of winners) on Spike TV and the Watchmen teaser shown during the event is now online and can be watched using the player below or in High Definition here! It includes an intro by director Zack Snyder, and stars Malin Akerman, Carla Gugino and Jeffrey Dean Morgan:

Looks good. This should raise the bar on a different level than The Dark Knight did. I have faith in Zack, that he'll actually give us the movie version of the graphic novel. Finally a "comic" to film that will leave audiences not only pleased, but shocked. Give it up.

Some of the cgi look, well, cgi... Doc Manhattan disintegrating the tank looks fake... but I hope they'll polish them up more. Still looking forward to this, though.

If you wanna know what its about. I'm telling you, READ IT. It's worth it.

Changed my perspective on comics. This book is a revolution, and i believe, I hope, the movie's gonna be a statement of that in it's form. We need to make better comic book movies. Iron Man, TDK and now hopefully Watchmen are all part of a new generation of comic book movies.
