great posters for a movie that is obviously going to be a shadow of what the graphic novel is.

If done right(and almost completely by the book), this could be the best comic adaptation ever done.

I just fear that if done correctly that this movie will not appeal the public in general. Too much character development and acting not enough action.
They really will need to do some very special marketing to promote this movie. No MacDonald toys or cartoon tie ins. It needs to be very clear that his is character driven. I think people see Superheroes and the expectation will be action.

How is any of that a problem? Its not like we need a sequel.

@Confused
I don't necessarily see it as a problem as fans deserve to be rewarded with a flawless adaptation, I just don't want to be in a theater with a bunch of yahoos that were expecting an action extravaganza and ripping on it when there isn't enough explosions, or super fights.

Ya, this movie is gonna kick so much ass.

Man, these posters are dope! I loved Watchmen, it's easily one of the best graphic novels i've ever read, and that has ever been written. I'll admit, i was a bit skeptical of the movie, but after comic-con, the trailer at the dark knight showing, and now these posters, plus the action figures, I'm definitely looking forward to this movie!

Man, I am psyched for this movie! These posters look great, I was hoping they would have that enormous cat thing. Regardless of the costumes being tweaked, they still look like they were ripped right out of a comic.

Does anyone else notice the clocks on the top left corner? They start At 12:50 and end just before midnight in the right order.
Sally Jupiter Pin up
Rorschach
Comedian
Sally Jupiter in front of the mirror
Nite(Night?) Owl
Dr. Manhattan
Ozymandias.
Perhaps (and hopefully!) this is the start of another long and intricate viral marketing campaign like The Dark Knight.

You know - I a bit scared when it comes to this film.
Mostly because of the Nipples the Neon Lights and that damn Smashing Pumpkins Song that was written SOLELY for THE BATMAN & ROBIN MOVIE, Im sorry but so far everything is pointing towards that 1997 bomb.
and
It frightens me

Oh I forgot, it seems in every Poster here, you see at least part of the phrase "Who Watches the Watchmen?"
