it sucked. unless u want to see a movie where they thought up some cool action scenes then made a story around it. got to see Ajolie bare @$$ that was almost worth the price of the ticket.

Caught a preview last night and loved it in a 'glutton for punishment' kind of way.
It's just knocked off Chronicles of Rid**** as being my new guilty pleasure..
As for Angie's a$$, she needed to put on more weight as she was way too skinny...

saw the midnight showing....i must say even for those who haven't read the comic, if u love gun-slinging action, this is ur movie. adapting from Millar's comic, the scrpit was dead on-word for word. despite the cotumes worn, it was pretty acurate in the story! kudos!!!!!! (gonna see it again 2night!-nothings gonna beat 'The Dark Knight' tho!!!!!!)

If you only see one comic book film this year makes sure it's not WANTED! Empty, derivative & odious. Slick visuals paper over a unintentionally ridiculous back story that advocates murder as a path to enlightenment. A witless package of nihilism and mainstream cruelty without a thought in it's empty pretty head.

Not Bad, not good, but not bad. Angelina looks as good bare now as she did ten years ago. The movie was alright I mean I like the graphic novel a lot and they stayed pretty true but it wasn't great.

It was a really well shot movie, the special effects were great (didn't over do it). Over all I give it a "B"

oh yeah, lost my train of thought... i liked it because i suspended my disbelief and took it for what it was...but i dont feel it did the graphic novel justice... visuals were cool, i expected that from Timur Bekmambetov.

I was one of the best movies this summer ..but ironman still number 1 in my book ....but this movie kicked ass...but a ****ed up ending..

I saw it.
It was lame. I know it's about the entertainment factor but when are hollywood going to learn that a good story/script can entertain and even add to the entertainment of bullets, guns and hot women.
This really was an ill conceived movie which is 5 years past it's sell by date. It looks nice, good lighting to make it look different from the matrix and yeah, the action is kind of cool in places but I really believe The Dark Knight is going to show Hollywood that you can have a summer blockbuster with colour, explosions AND a clever script.
I'm kind of curious but does anyone actually know of any movie Angelina Jolie has acted really well in? The two Tombraiders sucked, Mr and Mrs Smith was enjoyable but not for the acting...

I think it is very very good movie. I went from theater and I had good emotions. Angelina is very cool woman. Russian director has shoot a good film. I'm from Russia too, so I give 10/10.

Ichigo, what 'big words'? All this movie did was insult my intelligence... Which is a shame because it has some excellent visuals and fx as well as strong performance from James McAvoy.

By Far the worst story to a movie but action was great. Love movies with violence. Jolie I would tear up even tho she needs some fat on that body. The last scene reminded me of the shootem up sequence which was pretty uckin cool. All in all I give it a 7/10 it doesn't beat iron man and hulk out

I was expecting to see a new classic out of "Wanted", but in the end it was lame. Like another person commented, they built a story line around cool sequences, with the bullet camera and etc. Ending doesn't leave you with anything. If you liked the unreality of "Shoot 'em up" than you will like this movie.

I felt it was just a Matrix clone that added nothing new to the genre.

jolie's time has come and gone. i'm sick of her since she never does anything that challenges her as an actress anymore. just lame action like mr and mrs smith. and the kid in the movie is annoying.

btw, i was an extra in the film and met them both.

Just came from an earlier screening, I thought it was terrific. McAvoy's a terrific actor who was a perfect choice for this role (although, admitedly, I've never read the graphic novels), but the way he makes the transition from office nobody to cold blooded killer is damn good. What more can you say for Jolie? Her stare is like those of a wolf peering at you through a fog mist (she can hold her own against Freeman and McAvoy in the acting dept. as well). Stunt work borders on the "now who's next action film is going to one-up THIS film?" Entire supporting cast was great as well. Big thumbs up.

"Kill one...and MAYBE save a thousand"...
I too was a bit, confused by the entire idea of a weaving machine deciding the fate of everyday people, but then again, if a machine produces binary code to tell a person's name, and then they are killed, how hard is that to follow?
I figure, if I can even give notion to the belief that there is such a thing as God, I can somehow wrap my mind around pretty much ANY concept for a movie, and let's face it, this isn't the worst story. Great fighting, great F/X, an entertaining cast and James McAvoy was a pretty good choice. Morgan Freeman, awesome as always.
People, life is too short to complain about petty things all the time. It was a...unique...story, but we can all look at our favorite movies and find concepts that are ridiculous.
I strongly suggest this movie to anyone over 18 that enjoys a good time at the movies. It's summertime people, have a little fun...games are over come July 18th though...just saying.
