Hopefully kids don't see these trailers and try to "curve" the bullet with their friends.... Of course if that happens, we won't blame the movie, we'll blame the parents for letting their kids play with guns! :D

If Common got REALLY buffed up he might make an alright Luke Cage. much better than Tyrese anyway, that would be horrible casting

I could see Common pulling off John Stewart in a Justice League movie. I still hope that one gets off the ground. As far as Wanted,I'll go see it

@ Space Monkey

Not slow news day... more like no one cares about this movie it seems

Just read the Wanted comics last night and had no clue how far off this movie is. It looks like it would have been a decent stand alone title but it's basically nothing like the comics. Wesley Gibson actually looks a whole lot more like Eminem (That's not a casting suggestion, but now that i think of it, it would have been interesting).

If you haven't read the books yet, I'd suggest waiting till after the movie has come out. Once you've read them you can make a decision whether they made a good choice by veering so far from the source material and overall story because I'm not sure if it would have translated that well to film. Frankly I think all the people touting the comic as a work of genius are overrating it by far...it really wasn't that big a deal. *Just my opinion.

"if" ..the sequal is already being penned...

Posted by: dragOnYea on June 25, 2008 at 13:37:18

I read the Wanted comic and got to say he's tons more badass and evil in the comics- in the movie he looks like a naive wuss- the casting is just wrong.

Posted by: The Strongest There Is.... on June 25, 2008 at 14:41:38

casting is wrong if they were doing the comic book. But they are just using the comic book hype in todays trend to give this director a weigh in. I dont like the director but ill give him an american chance. Nighwatch and Daywatch sucked!!!! special fx were good but the story was crap and the directing was crappier. we will see.

Posted by: Young_Nastyman on June 25, 2008 at 15:18:49

It would be an ok movie if it wasn't supposed to be a sorry excuse for a comic book adaptation. Its like they took everything that made the book awesome and replaced it with crap. I WANNA SEE **** HEAD!!!!!

Posted by: Drunken Monk on June 25, 2008 at 16:40:44

See, that's what I'm talking about when I say it would be a decent stand alone film, but in terms of a direct rip from the comic..? The whole genre of the film would change, Angie wouldn't have been cast cuz the Fox is actually Black, Wesley is Blonde haired not brunette, there's no black guy (Morgan Freeman)teaching him anything, the fraternity is sctioned up into five parts and Wesley's part is run by a really short, old white guy. And most importantly, they're all villians...so this whole thing about him being an enforcer for justice is just totally out of left field.

However Young_Nastyman, as much as I prefer when people stick to the source material, I challenge you to keep the same tone of the movie and introduce ****head...explain that character realistically...a guy made up of the feces of the 666 most evil men to ever walk to earth? C'mon man, be real, there's no way the censors were going to pass that on a movie that isn't even in the shock horror genre...lol.

@Snorkllz

That's right. I do.

Posted by: Young_Nastyman on June 25, 2008 at 17:30:27

lol have you seen Kevin Smith's DOGMA? There is a S.H.I.T demon in it. So i guess S.H.I.T Head already made his movie debut

Posted by: MATT on June 25, 2008 at 18:44:25

This entire movie is a sh;t demon. They should have marketed it as a parallel world to the Matrix.

I don't really care for this movie, but I'm really starting to like James McAvoy. I hope he keeps accepting a variety of different roles. I thought he was great in The Last King of Scotland.

Posted by: Drunken Monk on June 25, 2008 at 22:29:22

Hmm...Dogma....alright point taken, but there's a lot more stuff in the comic that would add to the fact that we need to get ****head past the censors...he rapes and kills women for fun...shoots a defenseless old man in the head and the list goes on...not to mention all the cracks at Batman and Superman *Which I thought were hilarious btw.

Posted by: Blue Falcon on June 25, 2008 at 23:23:17

James McAvoy is probably the most talented young actor in the business - at this time. Thank god the Brits still produce real actors.

Posted by: lee on June 27, 2008 at 03:37:23

this movie sucked..just saw it..if u want to see a movie where they thought up action scenes then made a movie to go with action scenes then u will love this pile of crap.

Posted by: clientelekidd on June 30, 2008 at 08:21:05

WoW. Don't judge a movie from its trailer! The trailers for this movie were all superb.....they made me believe that this movie was gonna be all that and a bag of chips. More like... a lil bit of that and some stale popcorn. Seriously....It seems like the creators of the film tried TOO hard here. The action in the film is ridiculously crazy....which is good....but it gets old fast. The beginning to the film was cool....but during the duration of the film...they throw the viewers a curveball...and they get wayyyyy....wayYyy....WAAYY...off base and outta control with the plot....which is just...plain...DUMB. I know they couldn't help it...cuz it's based off the comic book....but I wasn't really diggin it. Also...it's PAINFULLY obvious that the movie creators wished they'd had Samuel L. Jackson instead of Morgan Freeman.......especially when he drops the MF bomb @ the end. Crazy action that gets old fast+ terrible plot+ even WORSE plot twist+ 5 seconds of seeing Angelina's bare backside= rental @ best....OR...buy it bootleg. Just don't pay to see it.

Worst movie Ive seen this summer. Over the top corny. A bullet in a perfect circle???? really? A million rats that spread and moved faster then Wally West. Allot of the action was ok.....but ya just felt cheated at the end.
