its based on the first 2 issues (or at least the first issue) of the wanted limited series by mark millar.because of the delay in issue 3 coming out,the script writers did their own version of how it would play out.and how wrong could they be,eh?! the comic series was awesome, one of the best i've read behind preacher and ennis's run on hellblazer, but even though the movie is loosely associated with the comics,i'm still looking forward to seeing it,just in an action-film-in-its-own-right kinda way

This is about as "based on" the Wanted comics as I Am Legend was "based on" the books... I was a little worried till I saw that first seven minutes and how awesome it looks. I recognize how hard i would have been to stay so true to the source material but c'mon, fighting for justice? That's way off.

I was also left a little dazed when I compared the movie to the graphic novel. I think the movie looks good in its own right, but the fact that its so off from the comic leaves a fishy taste in my mouth

Maybe its just me, but this movie has a strange vibe surrounding it. I mean you can kinda tell by the number of comments the articles on this movie gets. Personally I don't think it will be a bad movie, It just doesn't interest me, and I most likely won't see it on the big screen.

I don't see this becoming a box office hit... but im sure it will do well enough tho

She's talking about how Wesley relates to the everyman and all James can talk about is how much she beats him up. XD

I hope I didnt come off as complaining I was just wondering. Yeah I get the same vibe Snorkllz that its not a hit, but just a movie that will come and stay for a little but then get the message that its time to go.

they showed too much of this movie, and i'm a sucker for watching all the clips...Watchmen is going to be a true Graphic Novel adaption to the big screen, i'm just sad that it is so far away.

No Fire Fly, you're right. I just read the the graphic novel a few weeks ago. This movie only seems to cover like 1/4 of that story and completely cuts out everything else that made the GN so popular.

True that, this movie does have a weird vibe surrounding the film. I can't quit put my finger on It, I think Its the way the film has been marketed. I don't think they should have shown Wesley shooting the wings off of the flys, or him curving the bullet. I think those are scenes that they should have left for the viewing of the film.

Because now people are like 'c,mon, we have seen this is a sense before ala Matrix with the slow mo, and bullets flying. I think It will have a decent opening, and then a huge drop off for the second week.
