Bay Not Killing Off Fox in Transformers 3
November 20, 2009
USA Today talked to director Michael Bay who said there are no hard feelings between him and Megan Fox regarding her recent comments and talked a bit about her part in Transformers 3:
He also said, “She’s got a great part in Transformers 3,” and he said he’s currently working on the script. So Bay’s not planning on getting revenge by, say, killing her off? “No, no. no,” he said, dismissing it. “She gets enough of that already.”
The third installment is scheduled for a July 1, 2011 release.

its not like killing her off could save him from bad scripting, over done explosions, or anything else anyway.

"She gets enough of that."

ummmm, we'll see if her acting can out shine her fat injected lips.

Killing her off would have give all the nerds working on set nothing to live for....

They should kill off the whole project. Damn the general public for keeping this alive.

The worst part about this article, "and (Bay) said he's currently working on the script."

I'll go out on a limb right now and say it: anyone who goes to see a Transformers 3 should be lined up against a wall and shot.

The only person who cares less about story in Hollywood is McG.

Geez!!! I have only read the first few comments and all I hear is talk of wanting the franchise to end??? I recall a few years ago on this same website, that once word came out (and then released) about the movie, that it was the best thing a FAN could hope for of the series? Now all you guys do is bash a franchise most of you fell in love with back in the 80's?

Most of the haters on here are just elitists who think that because they followed a series since day one that only they are capable of loving/appreciating it and that the "general public" that Jonathan appears to be damning could never understand the love and dedication it took to wake up on Saturday mornings in their underoos and watch a show for thirty minutes.

REVENGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! gross

Please god BAY, scrap the whole thing and give this to a Director with a brain.
I grew up with Transformers and it absolutely kills me when I see the damage he has done.
Aside from Devastors balls, the constant slo-mo cheesy Armageddom cam made me go for the bucket on more than 1 occassion.
BAY - YOU SUCK !!!

Would like to use skid5jack as exhibit A. :) By the way, I highly doubt Michael Bay is reading this forum, jack.

Megan Fox is a Lindsey Lohan in progress. Overexposed and 'Hyped', her career is heading for a downward spiral. Sexy as she is, she can't act her way out of a wet paper bag, and professing to be the next Angelina Jolie, well.... thats not exactly the 'a' typical role to be modelling your life after.

@ tiberius183: They probably won't. Look, I love Transformers, but apparently not as much as the next guy.

WOW i fancy myself a huge movie buff and the ridiculous hating of michael bay needs to stop.now im not in love with the guy but come on! incase alot of you forgot action movies are SUPPOSED to be big and flashy and over done. saying that i think mr. bay should have passed over doing pearl harbor and armageddon. and its not michael bay killing these movies its sequels that are killing them. i mean seriously what action director out there can even hold a candle to michael bay? im serious i want to hear who you people think can do these type of movies better. so lets here it.

Thatguy..it's not about the source material...it's about the movie being terrible. Bay's juvenile sense of humor is terrible. How many shots of dogs humping each other do we need to see in a movie. Robots dry humping human females. Joe Pesci sounding decepticons and black stereotype Autobots. Mom getting high on marajuana brownies and jumping on students. Underdeveloped characters and a script that was MIA. Source material is no excuse for poor filmmaking.

and to all you people complaining about michael bay and mcg not caring about story or scripts thats becuz THEY DIRECT MOVIES NOT WRITE THEM!!!! not every action movie or comic adaption is going to have a good story like bad boys or the dark knight. u need to understand what ur going to a theater to see before you see it. i mean if u all want to talk about a great director who FLOPPED terribly its got to be tarantino with inglorious basterds. it was the biggest waste of 10 bucks and 3 and a half hours of my life.

IN THE NAME OF ALL THAT IS HOLY!!! I'M BEGGING YOU, BAY!!! STOP AT R.O.T.F.!!! TRANSFORMERS "BARELY" MADE IT AS AN "OKAY" MOVIE...AND R.O.T.F. WAS PAINFULLY HORRIBLE!!! AS A TRUE TRUE TRUE TRANSFORMERS FAN, I'M BEGGING YOU, PLEASE STOP NOW BEFORE YOU DESTROY THE TRANSFORMERS UNIVERSE!!!

I agree If people don't like Michael Bay films, fine don't watch them, go spend your money on some other piece of ****....New Moon..
I'll give my money to Bay, atleast he has agreat film style that's hard to top and he can really blow some **** up. I'll put my money on him, Jackson, spielberg, cameron, anyday of the week. They all have their own artistic visions, yet all four deliver when it comes to entertainment, which is why I pay to go to the theatre...

to darkknight: did michael bay write any of the script? NO! it was written that the mom got stoned on brownies. it was written that the twins where supposed to sound black and hispanic. tell me who you yourself thinks culd have made a better transformers movie? stephen sommers? cuz gi joe and the mummy movies were AWFUL. it was the script and the directing! so who wuld u have chose to direct transformers?

And LOL@Haters would be exhibit B. Unless of course it was a completely sarcastic post, which the username leads me to believe it is, lol. It just occured to me that I've been this forum too long. I'm out.

Transformers had it's flaws, but let's get real here - it's a movie about giant robots - based on a cartoon - that was based on a toy line - that was cobbled together for US audiences from two separate toylines and repackaged for our consumption in the eighties. A franchise that has never been consistent or even logical since it's inception, and probably overstayed it's welcome years ago.
The movies were both fantastic over the top, summer blockbuster action films. Popcorn movies with explosions and hot chicks. Award worthy? No - but they were never meant to be either. Films made for mass consumptions - not a masturbatory fanboy wet dream. Movies that don't apologize for beign over the top and fun (if you're willing to remove the stick from your sphincter and relax). Not a childhood fantasy come to life, or an attempt to rationalize your childhood heroes. Just action movies loosely based on toys you were supposed to stop playing with years ago.
Are they perfect? No.
Did they destroy your childhood cartoons/comics/toys? No - those still exist (go enjoy them before your parents throw them out and force you to get a job).
Did they reawaken an interest in these characters for new generations of children - their primary target audience - YES.
Do the kids love them - yes. Thus ensuring the franchise will live on for many many years to continue to annoy and frustrate fans who simply cannot let go of their childhood.
So i look at it this way - you can enjoy them for what they are, or you can cry about the movies and anonymously bash the talented folks that made them on the internet from your parent's basement surrounded by the magnificent toy collection that no doubt adorns the walls. Totally up to you.
Either way i'm not interested in preventing you from whining - post all you want - i enjoy watching grown men cry and go on about the thoughtless hollywood creative types who insist on making movies without getting their feedback first. The nerve of those people. But I will make a suggestion for the haters out there - make your own movie for others to enjoy and complain about instead - it's a better use of all that untapped creativity you apparently have to offer.
Me I already know that Hollywood made too much money on the last film not to make at least two more and nothing said here will change anyone's mind. So i'm going to enjoy Transformers 3 and be glad that they invited Peter Cullen back to reprise his role once again and simply enjoy the movies for what they are. BIG LOUD ACTION MOVIES WITH ROBOTS AND HOT CHICKS.
If Cullen isn't pissed about the treatment of his characer or the world Prime exists in - then I'm not gonna worry about it either. Life is too short.
And who really watches Fox expecting her to spout brilliantly delivered lines of dialogue? I sure as hell don't expect her to! Award winning actress she's not (at least not so far - maybe in a couple years). For now - who really cares what she has to say? She's the eye candy! You mean to say anyone is actually listening to her? Please - the rest of us red blooded males are only concerned with how revealing her outfit will be. Any lines of dialogue she delivers are just the writers trying to justify having a sexy female lead anyways. An endeavor neither I nor my wife are opposed to (God bless that woman!)
Let the flaming begin.

Don't lose hope people! Just because Bay isn't killing her off doesn't mean no one else can! Maybe she has a stalker out there with just the right kind of spunky, can-do spirit we need.
