Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen Dominates the Charts

Home Media Magazine reports that Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen has already become the top-selling home entertainment release of the year with first-week sales of 7.5 million units!

The sequel also became the biggest-selling Blu-ray Disc release of 2009, with first-week sales of 1.2 million units.

"Revenge of the Fallen" topped day-one sales, having moved 2 million discs its first day in stores, 500,000 of them on the Blu-ray Disc format.

The sequel easily debuted at No. 1 on all three charts: the Nielsen VideoScan First Alert sales chart, Home Media Magazine's rental chart and the Nielsen VideoScan Blu-ray Disc sales chart.

Worthless movie. SSH should post the "How It Should Have Ended" cartoon about Bayformers 2. The posted the funny Batman video, so why not?

you know what you guys are ****ed up,the movie was great the ony reason you guys dont like it because they didnt go by the comics or the cartoon.The dark knight didnt go by the comics and it still maid a big hit to the theaters.You guys need to suck it up,stop being cry babies and just stop being so damn negative.transformers 2 was a total bad ass.

I AGREE "MARVEL NERD" THE MOVIE WAS EVEN BETTER THAN THE FIRST, BAY HAS DONR A GREAT JOB WITH THE TRANSFORMERS SERIES, CANT WAIT FOR THE THIRD, IF YOU ARE A TRUE FAN OF THE SERIES YOU SHOULD LIKE IT LOTS OF ACTION, GIANT ROBOTS, WUT MORE IS THERE, ONE CANNOT COMPARE DARK KNIGHT WITH TRANFORMERS( 2 TOTALLY DIFFERENT GENRES)

It made the most at the box office and dvd sales!? what more should a successful movie do?

Who would really buy this movie on DVD or BluRay? It's not even worth renting. I saw this movie once, and it was in the theaters. And that was more than enough for me.

I mean, the movie itself was not that good. It was bad. "Batman and Robin" bad. And now, we have over 7 million people buy this movie in one week, with millions more sure to follow! Why?!

There must be a lot of 12-year-old boys hanging on to their their mothers arm pleading for her to buy this movie for them. Makes sense, because I went to Target recently and I saw this very scene before me several times over. It was sad. Really, really sad.

Terrible robot designs that are so incoherent and messy people can't tell who's who other than BB and Prime.

Terrible movies are often commercially sucessful. But I don't get this! Pretty much everyone I know, even die-hard TF fans, HATED this movie. HATED it.

How can it be selling so well??
