What a travesty.

Posted by: Just Watch It on June 24, 2009 at 13:33:59

don't listen to "other" peoples point of views. just watch it for yourself and enjoy it for what it is: an acton movie with robots. i saw it last night and i think this'll be #1 until Harry Potter comes out in a few weeks. I thought the movie was great. TDK was an awesome movie and its true, it opened on friday when most people could easily take off.

Not Bad !!

Job well done.

I had a very rambunctious crowd in my theater where everyone seemed to applaud when the lights dimmed, the dreamworks title took the screen, and then when the title screen hit. It was actually quite annoying.. however by the end of the movie about 10 people were the only one's still applauding. I have a feeling this movie will drop significantly by the weekend.

I'll be seeing it tonight, but from everything I've read, this will have a phenomenal opening week end but, ultimately, have no legs.

Personally I think the Dark Knight has a lot to thank for Heath Ledger's death. That movie was blown to way more than it was by that. Don't get me wrong, I love mot of that movie, but still... more people watched it because of Ledger's death. Thankfully nothing like this happened with ROTF. Box office revenue does not constitute a good film, however. Many great films make very little, and many bad ones rake in. I saw this movie last night and it was amazing. A terrific job and a great movie which delivers on what it sets out to. You can't judge a film by what it doesn't try to achieve. This film is great whether it breaks box office records or not.

Well deserved I think. Whats up with the critics and these reviews? The movie has its flaws, but wtf a 21% at rotten tomatoes?! Thats being pretty damn harsh.

Posted by: U R SICK on June 24, 2009 at 13:50:25

Where are all the people that hated this movie cause everyone stood up and applauded at my sold out IMAX showing so did I. It was great simple thats it one scene made the movie Optimus forrest fight!

What happened to just enjoying a fun movie! Thats what this movie is, just a fun movie.

Posted by: Pupuslinger on June 24, 2009 at 14:10:47

I saw it last night and me and my son enjoyed it a lot! Granted it has some dumb ( but funny ) dialog, but it is a Micheal Bay movie, it delivered on all fronts. Plenty of robots, explosions, transformations, Megan Fox in slowmo! I am not sure what people expect. How can you complain about a plot in a Bay movie? He made a blockbuster popcorn movie with everything that should have been there, and lots of it.

As far as the Dark Night, if it was not for the excellent performance of Heath, that movie would have sucked. He made that movie. If he had not died, the movie would not have made near as much money. Aside from his Joker, everything else in the movie standard fare.

i haven't seen it yet, im expecting an ok film. like wolverine & t-4 they were entertaing but not what i'd hoped see, as long as its half decent i wont mind it

Posted by: FaceMob on June 24, 2009 at 14:27:55

I don't care what you haters say, I have talked to ten of my friends who have seen the movie. All of them loved the movie. That's good enough for me. In 2.5 hours I will be enjoying it myself, so lick devastator's balls haters!!!

Posted by: daniel clavette on June 24, 2009 at 14:30:09

Wow that is cool news and the movies is like star wars 3,the dark knight box office hit.

Posted by: FaceMob on June 24, 2009 at 14:32:22

@Pupuslinger

I am glad someone finally said it. The Dark Knight is only as good as Heath's performance. I liked the movie but I am convinced that 75% of the people that own the movie, when they watch it now, they skip right to the Joker scenes.

Posted by: fettastic on June 24, 2009 at 14:34:15

20% on rottentomatoes! Holy GOD is that bad! That's about as bad as Delgo! Delgo was a movie so rancid that even the people that worked on it came out and said it was a POS! Transformers 2 must be HORRIBLE!

Posted by: BigO on June 24, 2009 at 14:35:13

Dude, batman's voice was not as dramatic as he tried so hard to make it be. It sounded like he was trying to take a mean crap, forcing it to come out while trying to talk. I agree with pup, Joker made that movie, not batman. Im not saying i didnt like TDK, im just saying everyone still praising it as best movie ever, need to watch more movies and quit comparing every movie to it.

Posted by: Alex on June 24, 2009 at 14:36:12

@ ERICinHB
Can't agree more It's Been a ****ing year and people still comparing The Dark Knight with everything. IT's my Favorite movie too but get over!!!

Posted by: fettastic on June 24, 2009 at 14:36:25

Transformers 2 is getting about the same number of positive reviews at rottentomatoes as MEET DAVE! WOW! 8^O

Posted by: Sparty on June 24, 2009 at 14:36:42

Better than Crystal Skull, and TDK is not as good as everyone says. It was great in IMAX as was transformers, but on DVD TDK lost all of it's legs in a format other than IMAX

Posted by: Film Ninja on June 24, 2009 at 14:46:27

This flick was garbage and judging by the posts of the retarded on here none of you know what movies were made for... To tell a story but you're all so stupid for **** and bots that none of you know what "good" even is. Anyone who thinks otherwise is simply wrong.
