I wonder if this page will get filled up with nonsense before it's filled up with any reviews.

I hope this movie doesn't turn out to be a bust. What else is left for the summer?

To add a little more to my thoughts. It was typical Bay shooting though, blurred fighting sequences and zoom in shots of the stuff you want to see in full frame, I guess he doesn't like his shots enough to zoom out on. other than that I thought the story line was cool and didn't suck like most second attempts. I don't want to give any spoilers but it was worth the wait.

This movie was really good, i really enjoyed it, my heart was beating fast at the beginning and the end of the movie...9.5/10 very few parts of the movie made me feel iffy. other than that, the movie was a complete and a total success of pure awesomeness and pure pwnage :D:D

good job Michael Bay, you made my dreams come true again!!!

before anyone else gets a chance to say it and even though I havent even seen the movie yet I would like to open up the forum to comparisons between Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen and The Dark Knight!

Posted by: Wyngarde on June 24, 2009 at 02:07:59

SweetDyckWillie-

Easy: "The Dark Knight" has characters, plot, story, action and respect for the source materials with great actors, writers and producers. Plus a director with a vision.

"Bayformers" none of those, but all the fart jokes "The Dark Knight" was missing.

Seriously: Are you really going to compare these two? What next: Citizen Kane and Catwoman?

I was able to see this early, and I agree with most reviews; this is pretty close to unwatchable. Too long, no plot, too many characters. It DOES compare to Batman - as in BATMAN & ROBIN (with George Clooney).

Worst movie of the year
22 % tomatometer

Check all the movie site... Crapformers is getting nothing but negative reviews from both critics and fans.

Thats what happens when you lie to yourself for 2 years saying this movie is going to be epic.

Denial is not a river in Egypt.
Rabid brainwashed fanboys.

Poorly shot soulless, random, pointless, action scenes ruined by shaky cam, blurry, zoomed in, 1 second, ADHD editing, with 20 different camera angles.

Blatant and lazy story, plot holes, continuity errors, pacing problems, terrible cliche and excessive ad lib dialogue, horrible acting, robots emote better than the humans, cringe inducing comedy and toilet humor that would make a 10 year old vomit in disgust.

Wheelie and the Twins have more screen time then all the other Transformers
Wheelie is a cussing farting leg humping idiot.
The Twins are racists gold bucktoothed mongoloid faced thugged out "bust a cap in your ass" cussing hillbilly gangsters.
Devastator is shown with testicles and is pointless and a wasted characater, killed by Agent Simmons shot to the balls.
Soundwave has little dialogue and never leaves space to fight or is show in robot
mode.
Sideswipe Ironhide Ratchet and Arcee have little to any dialogue and little screen time.
Transformers have babies now
Alice the pretender is pointless and wasted.
Sam's mom getting high will make you vomit.

LMAO the movie sucks hard on all levels everything about the movie suck.

It's not even entertaining or action packed

I haven't seen it but will casting directors think twice about LaDeuche after this? I hope so!

Posted by: BEN HUR on June 24, 2009 at 02:21:42

I'm seeing tomorrow but having second thoughts, was it really that bad?!

Posted by: TLS on June 24, 2009 at 02:24:57

I loved the movie, beginning to end. I don't care who says what about it, negative or positive. I loved it, that's all that matters to me. AND I got a ROTF popcorn bucket hahaha

Posted by: Mike on June 24, 2009 at 02:26:38

Some are taking the critiques alittle to Hard you knew watching the first the second one would be same or worse thats just how movies are. But over all the fighting was Fantastic, Megan was Hot, Story was ok, very entertaining yes.

worst movie of the year?? i don't know about that i would think any Eddie Murphy movie is terrible,
Dance Flick,
Pink Panther 2,
Mall Cop,
Wolverine,
G.I. Joe (And it ain't even out YET)
etc.

I Know how some of you feel but just give it a watch...if your that mad bout how the movie sucked that bad?? well just commit to not watching the next one at all or any other old skool movie.

hey mike - you forgot watch as the complete worst movie ever!!!!

Posted by: not over on June 24, 2009 at 02:33:37

sorry got excited..Watchmen SUCKED!

Posted by: slw4836 on June 24, 2009 at 02:34:45

Ben Hur, I don't waste a whole lot of time playing fanboy, "First", Marvel is better than DC (or vice versa) or other stuff on these boards, and I'm a huge movie buff and science fiction teacher. That said, this movie is amongst the worst I've seen in any genre. It's not that the first one was so good; it's another page ripped from the superhero movie franchise switcharoo - the director/producer can slap any crap together as long as the explosions are louder, the effects are bigger and the cast is deeper, because the fans will buy into the hype and help set opening day records, no matter what.

Again, let me be clear; this movie is not worth the cost of driving to the theatre. Wait for the HBO/Cinemax run.

Posted by: mike on June 24, 2009 at 02:36:29

Watchmen? it was ok still not as bad as some of the movies I listed. I don't think you can but Transformers thou...I would watch Transformers 5-10 times before I ever think about G.I. Joe once (if i ever watched it at all)

Posted by: Davide Todaro on June 24, 2009 at 02:40:24

Just watched it yesterday in Avant Premiere.
Ow man this movie sets a new standard to sci-fi action movies... Transformers legacy is a treasure and Michael Bay is a first legue artist, one of the best movies I saw in my whole life ! I'm 30 btw... anyway, even my girlfriend liked it, same goes for my other friends who were there !
It just kept going... it lasted 2hours 20 minutes... Pitty it ended... can't wait for number 3 !

Posted by: BEN HUR on June 24, 2009 at 02:43:50

That's what I thought...

Posted by: Turnaround on June 24, 2009 at 02:48:58

fools! of course transformers was always going to be like that. The comics n the cartoons in the past was exactly just about robots fighting robots. no need for any deep storylines. and guess what? thats why people fell in love with it. so the movies exactly the same. so whats the big deal? its a bay film. the action scenes were awesome, megan fox was hot and you didnt have to follow closely to the simple storyline. they didnt bother explaining the new robots, unlike x3 which practically delved into all the mutants background, so it wasnt as crappy as X3. and people were entertained. if you're looking for some serious ****, obviously this movie is not for you. go watch schindlers list or fly to Iran to help those people there. otherwise, this movie is just damn entertaining.

Posted by: slw4836 on June 24, 2009 at 02:50:48

Davide, take it from a 39-year-old; watch Minority Report, Predator, Blade Runner, episodes 3,5 & 6 of the Star Wars saga, iron Man or the Dark Knight if you want quality sci-fi action. All I (and eveyone else in the theatre- based on the constant groans, calls for refunds and disappointed looks and discussions afterwards)got from this movie on any epic scale was toilet humor and woefully bad acting. The crowd at the theatre, 80% of posters on this board and (thus far) 90% of legitimate movie critics can't all be wrong about this.

Posted by: Woof, Ninja, TriOXin - all mega tools!! on June 24, 2009 at 02:50:52

"First" to call clearly state just what 'tards these three are.

Thanks to everyone that posted a review of the flick - I haven't seen it yet, and will be going with suitably low expectations (much as I did for the first - turned out ok).

Posted by: Turnaround on June 24, 2009 at 02:51:26

and why is anyone unwilling to give gi joe a chance? wad has it done to you? has the movie offended you? fu%&ing losers.

Posted by: royal*** on June 24, 2009 at 02:51:31

people should enjoy the movie for what it is; a huge dumb special effects laden action popcorn flick. It's a movie based on a toyline of transforming robots for ***s sake, wat do critics expect? the dark knight? god..

Posted by: Fox roxs my sox on June 24, 2009 at 02:51:36

As a being a big transformers fan I must I was impress with all things about the movie aside from two things. One I didn't like the star wars relationship between the fallen and megatron. Two not even a transfomer can turn into a hotter girl than Megan Fox. 4.5 out of 5
