Shia Ruined the first one, hope he doesnt ruin this one too.

MEGATRON LIVES!!!

Megatron looks awesome. He looks alot like the first movie but he's obviously a tank this time. His calves have treds on them and the canon makes his right arm. Didn't expect Fallen to be a plane, sort of cheap I thought for sure he was going to be an Insecticon, oh well. Still I'm super pumped for this movie now.

Bring back Jazz!!!

Mike Shia so didn't ruin the first one...Michael Bay ruined the first one!!!!

Looks as craptacular as the first movie.

If the first one was so ruined as everyone whines about on here...I ask you this...why the hell are you on every Transformer update putting in you 2 cents? If you didn't like it...walk away. I hated Forrest Gump. I don't go to the Gump websites and flame people who liked it.
So annoying. Transformers was what it was. It made a boat load of money in the theatre, on DVD, on Bluray, and all of the other merchandise it sold. It has a sequel already on it's way to the cinema.

The movie did great beacause people loved it.

You didn't

Sorry

Move on.

Whiners.

Maybe Megatron will squash laBouf once and for all.

People who have a problem with SHIA are just jealous because that dork can get tail and get in major motion pictures.

Posted by: payle gray on February 23, 2009 at 14:58:01

I complain because having grown up with and loved Transformers since their inception, it's hard to let what Bay has done slide. If we, who don't like it enough, keep complaining MAYBE things will change.

I hope Megatron is genuinely in the movie and this just isn't some unofficial story point that Hasbro concocted to make another toy (look up the G1 redeco Jazz or Jungle Bonecrusher's back story to know what I mean.) The fact that this isn't a repaint, and is a brand new mold, leads me to believe he will show up in the movie.

My theory is he will mainly be in a flashback of sorts. Finally showcasing cybertron.

@I like logic

Unless Sam is also in a flashback on Cybertron, your theory is completely wrong. It is Megatron's hand holding down Sam in the trailer.

Cool, I like that new Megatron design...

First off, Shia didn't ruin Transformers. A Transformers movie should have been focusing much more on the robots than humans. Since that's not the direction they decided to go, casting Shia is what made the movie watchable until the robots came into the story. Michael Bay and fans of the first movie have 3 people to thank for the first movie's success:

1. Shia, for keeping the flick entertaining while waiting for the robots to show up.

2. Peter Cullen, because doing a Transformers movie without him would have been laughable. Optimus Prime's voice remains the best thing about the film.

3. Steven Spielberg overseeing as producer. Or did you think it was mere coincidence that this was Bay's first watchable film?

Having given credit where it's due, I gotta say, I wish they'd design the robots in these movies to be more distiguishable, one from another. It was never an issue in the cartoon, because each robot had its own, distictive look. But the new designs, while masterfully done, are so complex, almost all of them look alike.

Not that I'm complaining. I'm till looking forward to seeing it, and since all 3 listed above are still involved, I'm sure it'll be a lot of fun.

Well, they did say they would purposely throw out misinformation, to keep the plot a secret.

It's also possible it's just semantics, and they'll name the new revived Megatron, Galvatron.

Megatron will team up with Prime to take down the Fallen. There, I just saved everyone 2 and half hours of bullcrap on a screen.

Posted by: payle gray on February 23, 2009 at 16:08:02

Prime and Megs need to team up to take down Bay.

I like to make love to the men.

Looks like ROBOJUNK! You can't make out his feet from his ass. Puts a gun to Michael Bay's head...and pulls the trigger.

Spc Nut also puts from the rough.

Shia sucks ass.

i read on flixter over the weekend that Megatron is brought back to life by the spark of Sckorpinok and Starscream goes back to Cybertron to get reinforcments (even though it blew up so i'm not sure how thats going to work). The Autobots have to Battle to waves of bad guys. WHERE ARE THE DINOBOTS, JETFIRE AND SUPERION!!! Also, the constructicons all don't have robot modes, and would combine to make Devastator which looks like a Bionicle/Gorilla if you ask me.

Posted by: flipsican on February 23, 2009 at 17:43:39

Also, I want to see Shockwave, Bruticus, Predaking, and the Insecticons. Part 3 Suggestion: Tripticon vs. Metroplex and Omega Supreme vs. Menasor and Galvatron!!!
