UPDATE: Scooper 'ProducerEthan' took more photos this morning which you can check out here!
Both mylordsinuhe and fq9 have posted photos of a Long Beach, California set for Tranformers: Revenge of the Fallen. You can view the photos here and here.
Transformers 2 - Movie Chronicles has also posted a report on the filming with some spoilers:
I work in the area and they have the whole area set up to be China, as you guys know. Now I did see Prime, Bumblebee, the silver corvette, 2 blue cars (small) and Ironhide. All were parked on the back lot behind Catalina Landing!
The scene I witnessed was a traffic scene where they were driving down Shoreline Drive and then 2 flatbed Trucks merge into traffic. THEN BOOOM!!! One of the two trucks blew in half.
Michael Bay's sequel hits theaters on June 26, 2009.

I'm MORE first than you are. They should also play "instruments of destruction" and the Transformers theme by LION. AND we should all grow mullets and wear glam make-up and members only jackets. WEEEEEE!

SOUNDWAVE as a cassette player??? He may as well transform into a gramophone.

I don't think soundwave needs to be a cassette player but I hope he has some type of sonic boom power.

As long as Soundwave resembles the character in robot form somehow and has that monotone metallic voice we all love I dont give a shee-it what he transforms into. Chances are though if he's a cassette player/iPod/Boombox he won't be as tall as the others hence the movies dont like the inexplicable growing between transformations. such as Megatron and Soundwave. Megs was a gun that could fit in your hand but when he transformed he was like 20 feet tall. Just make Soundwave look a bit and soundlike the cartoon and I don't care how tall he is or what he turns into. Howabout a PSP? He can eject minidiscs. Ravage could be Grand Theft Auto:Vice City Stories and Rumble could be God of War:Chains of Olympus. Of course they would all be really really little...

theres a real cool sound wave figure in store now, were he is a scion XB with huge speaker system. when he in robot form he looks a lot like the 80's version. so a scion car with a massive sound system would make sense to me

Clearly, they were only at Catalina Landing awaiting the Catalina Wine Mixer. POW!

I've heard rumors about who the silver corvette is, but I'm crossing my fingers that it's Sideswipe.

come this november i ll be waiting for the teaser.. will there be one?

how could they make soundwave a boom box ?? they already did that with frenzy and it wasnt even a key part of his character, it was almost useless..The vehicle with a huge soundsystem does make more sense, its similar to the soundwave weapon in the incredible hulk.

Is that pink on the rear of the car covered up (img079). If so could be arcee. I've heard that she will be in it. The car looks like the rear of GM's Corvette Centennial Design Concept (pictures of which were posted on shh on August 11th)

I'd love to see a predicon or maximal (response to the fish) in this movie but it probably wouldn't make much sense. Although technically Scorpinok ver.1 is still out in the sand somewhere.

So well for Michael Bay keeping all this private.
Posted by: pat_the_geek on September 1, 2008 at 07:12:23
I didnt see the first movie not only because they messed up the story or character designs, but mostly because Michael Bay is way overrated as a director and that ALL the movies based on cartoons suck, Flintstones, Scooby Doo, Underdog, Garfield (technically a comic strip)He-Man etc and im sure im forgetting a few. How many will it take from them to stop?
