Transformers 2 Game Details Revealed?

TransformerToys.co.uk posted a possible synopsis for the next "Transformers" video game, that may be titled "Transformers 2: The Ultimate Battle" and would be available for the PS3, PS2, Wii, PSP, DS, Xbox 360 and PC:

Make every second count Transformers 2: The Ultimate Battle, as you choose to seek revenge as the Decepticons or defined Earth as the Autobots. Go beyond the movie and drop into pressure-packed missions where seconds can make the difference between survival and destruction. Play as a variety of Transformers, such as the evil Starscream or heroic Optimus Prime, to either demolish or protect fully destructible environments around the globe. A new Transformation system gives you more detailed control as you instantly switch between Robot, Weapon, and Vehicle modes at any time to drive, fly, fight and shoot youy way through gripping levels. Then make your choice online as you go head to head against friends in multiplayer battle zones. Your alliance will decide whether Earth's greatest cities stand or fall in ruin as you experience the ultimate level of intensity in this race against time.

Well, to me it sounds like the first game just in different cities around the world. The first one was a worthless pile of crap, there were moves that only worked on certain characters like the Superman Returns game, and other than the bots themselves it looked like a PS1 game. Why the hell are Autobot drones able to do **** to Megatron? Should have been able to mow through the drones but instead, we got a craptacular, generic, retarded botfest. First game sucked I wont even give this one a chance. They need to do something like War of the Monsters with Transformers, with vs. multiplayer. Maybe with Vs. mode the first one would have at least been playable. Oh well hopefully someday we'll get a decent TF game.

The armada game was really good, Ratchet... despite vehicle form never really being needed. But it was still really good.

From what I read a while ago, they are gonna try to figure out a way to bring back Megatron, and also Soundwave can replicate sparks by using the right frequencies (apparently). So since energy is just a manipulation of sound then they might use him in Transformers 2.

Online for Transformers is gonna be laggy

first game was fun for the first 5 min then it got old and stale. same shiit over and over again. couldn't upgrape moves, and it was plain out garbagio

The DS games were pretty damn good. some of my favourite DS games actually. the online component for them was pretty innovative (time trials/ destruction runs etc. points awrded for which side you're on, etc)

looking forward to seeing what they do with this.

i dont want a game i want the movie dammit of course there gonna bring back megatron the all spark was never fully destroyed and can repair the transfomers .does any one remember when megatron pulls the guy out of the car and flicks him or when the x box 360 turns into aa transformer ? really sucks those scenes got cut from the movie when the put it on dvd i laughed my ass off at that **** weeaak

The first game absolutely blew ass. I played it for the 1000 achievement points and thats it. I couldn't play it for more than an hour at a time because the screen shook too much whenever the robots would walk. Much like Call of Duty 3. I just hope they fix those issues.
