Meanwhile, this site says that "Apparently Shia [LaBeouf] is going to be filming Transformers 2 in Penn's Castle Fraternity for a scene. Apparently shooting starts in June." We'll have to wait and see if that turns out to be accurate.
Michael Bay's Transformers 2 is scheduled for a June 26, 2009 release.

geoffdog77...What's the point of being such a downer? Would've used another word, but then I'd be censored. Just because you don't like transformers doesn't mean other people don't. Why say anything if you can't say something constructive?

I'm with you Spyder121 people always bringing transformers down.I think they should get a life the bagging on peoples movies.
Posted by: Frans on May 26, 2008 at 03:16:47
yeah i'm agree with you two guys, if you don't like the movie, it doesn't matter but give a professional comment not such a 'sucks' word. And if you don't like the first movie, you can skip watching the next sequel.

interesting, i ope they have an open casting call in California soon
Posted by: shockquake on May 26, 2008 at 03:40:05
to spidey 951: yeah I am hoping for that too.
Does anyone know if they're going to shoot in southern California? I know a best place to shoot is Balboa Park. There are a lot of museums and old building that they can use for background just like the Penn's castle fraternity. Or they can shoot inside the museums.

What does Heery Casting mean when they say "if you can't make it, we will announce submission instructions later" in the paragraph below:
NON-UNION talent - we STRONGLY encourage you attend the open call; if you can't make it, we will announce submission instructions later.

geoffdog77 STFU and GTFO K?
Posted by: Spyder121 on May 26, 2008 at 03:50:09
Shockquake...It basically means that their preference is to cast from people who show up to the open call, but if they aren't able to get all the folks they need, they'll have more auditions geared for more specific parts down the line and will announce who it is they need and when and where they'll be at a later date. They may also require you to send in personal information so they know who's showing up.

Why do people comment on these boards if they dont like the movie.Obviously from the Heading you can tell it relates to Transformers. If you dont like the movie, dont read the article, and dont waste your & our time by leaving a comment. Now go find that dark hole you crawled out from and get back in it......

Has nobody else worked out that it sounds like Sam has gone to college and there will be some kind of hi-jinks and action that's based on campus, would make sense to have it at the start of the movie too, to show the progession of his character between the two movies. But i'm just one man with one opinion

Posted by: word on May 26, 2008 at 10:31:06
Ummm muesum? Dinobots maybe?
Posted by: adtri on May 26, 2008 at 11:31:22
Bay won't make that release date if filming hasn't started yet. Expect this to be delayed to fall '09 (when gas cost $7)

transformers is the opposite of sucks!
Posted by: PUNCHO VEELA on May 26, 2008 at 12:41:05
Do the Transformers run on gas...and do they get regular oil changes? With gas at $4.00/gal, it must cost round $4,000 ti fill up Bumblebee.
Posted by: Mike on May 26, 2008 at 13:02:44
Sorry for the off topic post, but if you think gas is expensive in the USA, check these numbers:
1 US gallon = 3.78541178 litres
1 litre of Gas in Portugal = 1,494 Euros
1.494 Euros = 2.298 American Dollars
Which leads to:
3.78541178 litres * 2.298 American Dollars = 8.69887627 Dollars per gallon of Gas!
And don't tell the economy in Portugal is better than the USA...
About the movie, I just hope the story foccuses more on the robots this time... and the designs actually help tell the robots apart during action scenes.

Yeah, word. I was thinking the exact same thing...
Posted by: Wilson on May 26, 2008 at 13:26:24
Okay this is starting to get a little unprofessional. Doesn't anybody remember that some of this may not be real? False information. If your going to keep posting T2 casting calls, shooting location, and cast information only for it to be debunked or left hanging I do believe im finding another site to use.
Posted by: Maxwell on May 26, 2008 at 13:42:08
well if it's an open casting call, it really wouldnt be a con if they dont ask you for money... unless the con was set up by the oil companies to try and get people to waste their gas.
Posted by: Apexx on May 26, 2008 at 13:44:24
Like word and Reed, I'm hoping a museum means Dinobots or, at least, Grimlock.
