Palmiotti Wants Silverman for The Pro

In 2002, Image Comics released the prestige one-shot "The Pro" by writer Garth Ennis and artists Amanda Conner and Jimmy Palmiotti, a hilarious book about a prostitute who gets superpowers. Although the creators had been trying to get an animated series based on the character off the ground, the book's inker Jimmy Palmiotti now mentions on his Blogspot blog that those plans have stalled, but that they're now looking into doing a live action version of the character.

Palmiotti's first choice to play the lead role is comedienne Sarah Silverman, and he's posted a couple hot pics of Silverman in various poses and states of undress on the blog as proof that he thinks she has what it takes physically, as well as the undeniably sassy sense of humor her fans love, to pull off such a role.

This is the first word of such a project being in development and though one presumes they creators will still need to pitch the idea to a studio or production company and there's a long process involved with getting a movie like that off the ground, getting Sarah Silverman attached sounds like a good way to get a project like this moving forward.

I think that would make for a hilarious movie. Silverman is one of my favorite comedians and the raunchy humor in The Pro would suit her perfectly.

The Insider is right on the money Kristin Chenoweth will be fantastic as The Pro she is sexy she can act and she is damn funny sarah silverman is F**king dull I LOVE the book funny as hell and if sarah silverman is in it i aint paing to see it.

to the person who thinks sarah silverman is hot...do you remember the creepy landlord lady in the movie Kingpin...yeah that's about what i would compare her to and for some reason she looks like she would be really hairy ya know down there hahahhaha gross

Ender88: Prostitute, not stripper. Despite what movies like to portray, most prostitutes don't look like Julia Roberts. Just check some of the local mug shots and you'll see some of the ugliest women you could find. So, Sarah Silverman might be perfect for the role. Don't get me wrong; I think she looks fine. However, her personality makes her ugly. So, skank her up a little bit and she'd be perfect for the part.

I'm not a fan of Sarah Silverman. I think her acting is terrible, and she's not funny. I haven't read this comic but I know there is no way she could do it justice...Plus I think more people would avoid a movie that she was starring in than would go to it. she may be physically attractive but she's socially repulsive.

You know what? She scored points with me when she burned Paris Hilton at the Mtv movie awards, with that crack about her breaking her teeth on the bars. I don't care if Sarah Silverman never says another funny thing for the rest of life, that alone made me a fan of hers. I hate Paris Hilton with a passion.

They have to do that scene where she's down on Superman and his skeet knocks a plane out of the sky.

I just googled her as I have no idea who she is, and she looks like a dirty cow! Well, the first two pictures are of her holding her crutch so..... looks like shes good for the part!! :)

I loved the Pro and if this isn't taken too seriously (by film makers and fan boys alike), this should be a good film!

She may be vulgar, crude and classless - but Sarah Silverman doesn't have large knockers. Far from it - so she's less than perfect for "The Pro."
