SDCC: Better Quality Jonah Hex Poster

A better quality version of the Jonah Hex poster is now online. Directed by Jimmy Hayward, the comic book adaptation opens June 18, 2010 and stars Josh Brolin, John Malkovich, Megan Fox, Will Arnett and Michael Shannon.

I have only seen Hex in the BTAS cartoon as well as his role in an episode of JLU. I look forward to this. Hopefully it and Green Lantern shall do well and WB will realize the great material they have and shall get serious about putting other DC films out. I particularly want to see a new Superman(revamp), Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Flash and Martian Manhunter. Once these films are complete they can make an epic Justice League film.

Fox better do a nude scene.

The only appeal she has is that body of hers. Her "acting" certainly doesn't draw crowds.

I like the poster a lot, I just don't want Megan Fox anywhere near the movie. Yes I know she's hot, but she's not a good actress.

Other than that Josh Brolin is PERFECT for Jonah.

For the people that say Megan can't act, we have yet to see her in anything that doesn't involve 10 foot fighting robots. All she had to do in Transformers and TF2 is run around looking hot and sexy. Mission accomplished.

I used to love the comic, the fact that he looks JUST like the Jonah I remember as a kid gives me hope already.

I wish the poster had a more old west feel. Not a fan of the metalic blue font.

looks like they punked out on the eyeball, but who really didnt expect that. they punked out on comedian scars in watchmen and he wasnt even the leading man.......

Fox is vapid and bland. I was hoping a real actress with even the smallest amount of charisma would be in this.

I've seen an earlier photo of Josh Brolin as Hex. Maybe I'm wrong, but I think his face should be more hideous and distorted for a live-action film.

So long as they remain true to the spirit and story of Jonah Hex, that's what I care about.

I generally believe that if they remain true and tell a good story; that's what matters.

I do understand that they need to get the look of Hex right, though.

hex is a great character take a look at old issues of comics with him not that the animated stuff is bad and brolin will pull it off fine im sure there will be additional cgi added to his face and as far as fox she is just eye candy and hopefully wont have much screen time with dialogue

Josh Brolin is probably one of the most underrated actors around and this could get him off the smarmy films he has been in and into the big leagues. As for the Megan Fox haters-why do you care?-She has been in several films and tv shows before Transformers. She can act with the material she is given. If you CAN"T act they will put you in a comedy wth a comedian who can't act either so it does not show how bad they are. I saw the clips from Jennifer's Body and she seems to be doing pretty good there.
But, to those already condeming a film before they see any trailers "GET A LIFE" and quit trooling on reports on something people who care about the subject like to read about not your inane comments!

Megan Fox is so cute on this picture. I think Josh Brolin is a great actor. I loved W. Maybe this movie will be cool in the cowboy's business.

I was looking forward to Josh, but.... This poster kind of disappoints. Not enough Hex, and too similar to Ghost Rider.

I also totally agree with GK1. I think the make-up could be closer to the comic.
