The Losers Coming April 16?
June 24, 2009
Warner Bros. Pictures has set an April 16, 2010 release date for director Sylvain White's big screen adaptation of the DC-Vertigo comic book, The Losers. Warner Bros.' New Line also has A Nightmare on Elm Street scheduled for that day, so we're assuming one of these projects will be moved away from the other. Dimension Films was planning an April 16 release for Robert Rodriguez's Nerveracker as well.
The Losers is an adaptation of the DC-Vertigo comic book about a band of black ops commandos who are set up to be killed by their own government. They barely survive and set out to get even.
Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Idris Elba, Chris Evans, Columbus Short, Jason Patric, Zoe Saldana and Oscar Jaenada will star.

It's been done before, but it never gets old. At least I think so. There's something about revenge. I actually have a similar story about avenging fallen brothers in a military unit.

This is absolutely riding the coat-tails of the upcoming A-Team movie.
I'll never understand writers who rip-off other projects and try to repackage it as original.
It seems like they are rushing this into production because they know A-Team is on the fast track.
Doesn't matter...A-Team will be the one everyone remembers.

GOOD GUY'S WEAR BLACK ? , YEP IT'S BEEN DONE , BUT LIKE JOSH WROTE IT REALLY NEVER GET'S OLD. HOWEVER THIS SHOULD NOT BE A BIG BUDGET MOVIE, AND QUITE HONESTLY THIS WOULD BE BETTER SUITED FOR T.V.

People really should read the Vertigo series, definitely superior to the A-Team which IMO will bomb at the box office, though, I HOPE it succeeds.
The Losers will surprise a lot of folks and IMO spawn a franchise

Man, Common's not even a good actor, if u can even call his presence in movies that. He's terrible. In every movie he's done, Smokin Aces, Street Kings, Wanted, Terminator Salvation, etc, he's played the exact same quiet character that doesn't really do ****--not too far from his regular personality. He would've totally ruined Green Lanterin in that George Miller Justice League movie.
I think he's only in it for the paycheck, cause the guy doesn't have a range at all. Same character every damn time, so please dont put him in this movie.
